    Abstract: A drive apparatus includes a motor that includes a motor shaft disposed along a first central axis that extends in one direction, a housing that includes a first housing portion housing the motor and that is capable of storing oil, and a liquid cooling portion disposed in thermal contact with an inverter electrically coupled to the motor, the liquid cooling portion including a refrigerant liquid flowing therein. The housing includes a contact portion with which the liquid cooling portion is in thermal contact. At least a portion of the contact portion is disposed below an oil surface of the oil stored in the housing.

    Abstract: A motor unit includes a motor including a rotor to rotate about a motor axis extending in a horizontal direction, and a stator radially outside of the rotor, a housing including a housing space to house the motor, oil in a vertically lower region of the housing space, and an oil passage to feed the oil from the vertically lower region of the housing space to the motor. A channel of the oil passage includes a main reservoir and an auxiliary reservoir to store the oil. Each of the main reservoir and the auxiliary reservoir includes an outflow port to feed the oil to the motor. The main reservoir is located on an upstream side of the auxiliary reservoir in the oil passage. The auxiliary reservoir is structured to receive a portion of the oil overflowing from the main reservoir.

    Abstract: A rotary electric machine includes a rotor having a hollow shaft, a housing, a current shunter fixed to the housing and in electrical contact with the shaft and the housing, and a nozzle member for feeding a fluid inside the shaft. The shaft has an open end portion on a first axial side. The housing includes a bottom wall on the first axial side from the open end portion, and a peripheral wall protruding from the bottom wall toward a second axial side and surrounding the open end portion. The nozzle member has a feeding tubular part at least partly inserted inside the shaft from the open end portion, and a flange portion protruding radially outward from the feeding tubular part. The current shunter is located radially inside the peripheral wall, and the flange portion is located between the current shunter and the bottom wall in an axial direction.

    Abstract: A transmission mechanism device includes a transmission mechanism including gears, a first shaft, and a first bearing supporting the first shaft, a housing accommodating the transmission mechanism and having a first bearing holder portion on the inner face, oil collected in the lower region of the housing, and a catch tank disposed in the housing and opens upwards. The first bearing holder portion has a holding tubular portion that holds the first bearing from radially outside. The holding tubular portion has a cutout portion that connects the inside and outside of the holding tubular portion. A flow passage including a cutout portion is provided on the inner face of the housing. The catch tank includes a reservoir and a feed portion extending from the inside of the reservoir to the holding tubular portion. The distal end portion of the feed portion is inserted into the flow passage.

    Abstract: A drive device includes a first shaft, a gear portion, a lubricant flow path, and a housing. A gear portion having a second shaft is connected to an end portion of the first shaft in the axial direction. A side plate portion of the housing separates a motor tubular portion surrounding a motor accommodation portion that accommodates a rotor and a stator and a gear tubular portion surrounding a gear accommodation portion that accommodates the gear portion. First and second bearing holding portions disposed in the side plate portion rotatably support the first and second shafts via the first and second bearings, respectively. A lubricant supply portion that is disposed radially outward of the stator and supplies lubricant to the stator includes a lubricant flow path through which lubricant can flow. The lubricant flow path is connected to at least one of the first and second bearing holding portions.

    Abstract: A motor includes a rotor and a stator. The stator includes a stator core with slots, and conductor connection bodies connected in series and inserted into the slots. A plurality of straight portions of the conductor connection bodies include a first straight portion connected to a crossing portion and a second straight portion that is connected to one end of the folded portion and disposed in an innermost layer in the slot. In the slot, a distance between the second straight portion and the first straight portion located outside the second straight portion is larger than a distance between the first straight portions, and a protrusion direction in the radial direction of the folded portion with respect to the second straight portion and a protrusion direction in the radial direction of the crossing portion with respect to the first straight portion are different from each other.
