摘要: Methods for treating neoplasms, by administering oncolytic viruses to a neoplasm having activated PP2A-like or Rac activities, are disclosed. The virus is administered so that it ultimately directly contacts target cancer cells. Combinations of more than one type and/or strain of oncolytic viruses can be used. Of particular interest is the use of reovirus.

摘要: Method and apparatus for providing integrated monitoring, control and diagnostics functions for semiconductor spray processors is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, a spray processor host system of the present invention comprises a plurality of PC-class computers interconnected via a network link. Each of a first subset of the spray processor host system computers comprises a supervisor computer connected to one of a plurality of spray process tools, which in the preferred embodiment comprise Mercury.RTM. MP processors. The supervisor computers provide ongoing information exchange with the processors and maintain up-to-date status information. Each supervisor computer maintains an event log of processor operations and operator actions, as well as data capture files for storing process variables captured by the supervisor computer. Each of a second subset of the spray processor host system computers comprises an engineer computer for providing the system operator with a command driven interface to the spray processor host system. Each engineer computer can monitor a plurality of supervisor computers and is used to enable such functions as recipe directory editing, recipe downloading, event log searching, data capture file data graphing and processor status viewing. A third subset of the spray processor host system computers comprises a bridge computer for providing a communications link between the supervisor computers and a upstream host computer outside the spray processor host system, for example, a lot scheduling or material flow control computer.

摘要: A host computer and printer and method of operation wherein the data file describing a document is processed in a manner that creates a frame of data to be transmitted from the host computer to the printer. The data frame contains a data stream which is wrapped in a create font command wrapper so that the printer will be able to process the data frame in some manner. If the printer is operating in a first mode and cannot process the actual stream data, the frame wrapper will allow the printer to process the wrapper and ignore the data stream. If the printer is operating in a second mode and can process the actual data stream, the printer ignores the wrapper and processes the data. The printer will print a message to the user if the printer cannot process the actual data stream. The message informs the user of the printer's inability to process the data stream.

摘要: A bicycle tow device that attaches to a bicycle to allow the bicycle to tow one or more other bicycles or carry one or more bicycle tires. In some versions the tow device can be installed on the towing bicycle without tools and a towed bicycle can be attached to the tow device without tools. One version of the tow device includes an adjustable support to adjust the tow device so that bicycles of varying frame and tire sizes may be towed. The tow device may also include a skirt within a guide to gently secure the towed bicycle to the tow device.

摘要: A portable, flexible peritoneal dialysis system is disclosed. The system includes a flexible harness, such as canvas or cloth, to mount a stiff housing with a heater for holding and heating fresh dialysis fluid. The harness includes straps or other suspending devices for holding a second, flexible housing for a drain bag for holding sent dialysis fluid. The upper portion of the system includes a hook and a load cell for suspending the remaining portions. The load cell is used to measure the weight of the apparatus. By keeping track of the weight and the changes, the quantity of fluid removed from the patient, spent dialysate, is tracked, as is fresh dialysate infused into the patient. An electronics or control portion controls heating of the fresh dialysate, and operation of pumps and valves for moving the dialysate. This portion also includes alarms and communications equipment.
