    摘要： Injection devices are known for the self administration of a medicament by patients. The medicament is typically contained within a cartridge located within an injection device. It is a problem that injection devices should be small enough to fit into a jacket pocket or a hand bag without difficulty. Concurrently, the injection device must be of a size that enables a piston used to drive a cartridge bung within the cartridge to both to a maximum dispense position within the cartridge and to be fully withdrawn from the cartridge to allow for replacement of the cartridge. A drive mechanism for an injection device is disclosed comprising a piston member (10), a semi rigid belt (12) connected at a first end to the piston member (10), a belt drive means to drive the semi rigid belt (12) and a dose setting mechanism to control the driving of the semi rigid belt (12) in which the belt drive means comprises a first cable means (22) connected at a first end to a second end of the semi rigid belt (12) and at a second end to a first spool (24). An injection device comprising such a drive mechanism is also disclosed.

    摘要： The present invention relates to injectors, such as pen-type injectors, that provide for administration of medicinal products from a multidose cartridge and permit a user to set a delivery dose. An injector may include a housing, a cartridge containing a medicinal product, the cartridge being retained within the housing, a dose setting mechanism to select a dose of the medicinal product to be expelled, and a dose delivery mechanism to expel the selected dose of the medicinal product. The housing may be a unitary housing within which the dose setting mechanism and the dose delivery mechanism are moveably retained.

    摘要： A medicament delivery device comprises a housing having a longitudinal axis, a medicament delivery mechanism within the housing, a dispense interface disengagement actuator and a detachable dispense interface. The interface is moveable between a first operative position in which the dispense interface is securely engaged and at least partially contained within the housing, and a second non-operative position in which the dispense interface is partially engaged and at least partially extending from the housing such that it can be detached from the housing manually. The travel of the dispense interface from the first position to the second position is along the longitudinal axis in a direction away from the housing and the movement from the first to the second position is actuated by the dispense interface disengagement actuator.

A medical device comprising a first valve, a second valve, a first pre-valve ullage, a second pre-valve ullage, a post-valve ullage with a first end and a second end and a needle is presented. The first pre-valve ullage is connected to the post-valve ullage by the first valve and the second pre-valve ullage is connected to the post-valve ullage by the second valve. A first fluid is guidable from the first pre-valve ullage to the post-valve ullage and a second fluid is guidable from the second pre-valve ullage to the post-valve ullage.

    摘要： A pen-type injector is improved so that a user may select a delivery dose of medicinal product from a multidose cartridge. The injector includes a housing. a cartridge containing medicinal product retained within a housing, a piston rod, a dose selecting member to select a dose of medicinal product to be expelled, and a drive member to expel the selected dose of medicinal product. The housing is formed unitary so that the dose selecting member and the drive member are moveably retained within the housing. The injector may include ratchet means associated with the insert to ensure the piston rod only rotates in a single direction through the insert, a button located on the drive sleeve, and clutch means which upon depression of the button prevents rotation between the dose dial sleeve and the drive sleeve.
