摘要: A device for administering needle-free subcutaneous treatment to a patient comprises an actuator configured to deliver a plurality of volumes of a treatment at a plurality of locations on a body of the patient; at least one imaging device configured to detect a movement of the needle-free device from a first location on the body of the patient to a second location on the body of the patient; and a processor configured to determine the second location on the body of the device relative to the first location from the movement of the needle-free device relative to the first location on the body, the processor further configured to determine a volume of the plurality of volumes of the treatment to deliver to the body of the patient at the second location.

摘要: Drug delivery devices are described that include an escapement activation assembly. The escapement activation assembly includes a slide having a plurality of pallet engagement portions and a switch engagement portion and a pallet having a plurality of slide engagement portions. A drive is coupled to the pallet to cause the pallet to move relative to the slide to move the plurality of slide engagement portions into and out of engagement with the plurality of pallet engagement portions to allow the slide to move along a path within the drug delivery device. Movement of the slide can cause the switch engagement portion to move out of engagement with an activation trigger of a mechanism of the drug delivery device.

摘要: A method of delivering epinephrine includes placing a distal end surface of a medical injector into contact with a target location of a patient. The medical injector includes a housing, an energy storage member, and a medicament container containing a dose of epinephrine effective for administration to the patient experiencing anaphylaxis and having a weight of less than 15 kg. The medicament container is coupled to a needle. The medical injector is actuated such that the energy storage member produces a force to move the needle from a first needle position to a second needle position. A distal tip of the needle extends from the distal end surface by a distance of between 7 millimeters and 8 millimeters when the needle is in the second needle position. A portion of the force is exerted to expel the dose of epinephrine when the needle is in the second position.

摘要: A displacement sensing device is configured for a peritoneal dialysis system. The peritoneal dialysis system includes a housing and a syringe. The syringe is disposed on the housing and has a push rod. The displacement sensing device includes a guide rod, a probing module, and a resistance scale. The guide rod is coupled to the push rod, and the probing module is disposed in the housing and is fixed at the guide rod. The resistance scale is disposed at a side of the probing module. The probing module is configured to contact the resistance scale to obtain a resistance value of the resistance scale and determine a displacement magnitude of the push rod. In addition, a peritoneal dialysis system is also mentioned.
