    Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes a dust collector detachably installed at a cleaning stick. The dust collector includes a cyclone unit to generate a cyclone stream and a dust collecting unit to collect foreign matter. In this structure, a dust collecting efficiency of the dust collector may be increased, and a load of a cleaning apparatus body may be reduced.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are a cyclone dust collector configured to easily remove dust, hairs, etc. which stick to an outer circumferential surface of a grill portion while the grill portion is being separated and a vacuum cleaner including the cyclone dust collector. The vacuum cleaner includes a cyclone dust collector. The cyclone dust collector includes a case in which dust in sucked air is separated and accommodated, a grill assembly separably mounted on the case, and a cleaning portion configured to clean a surface of the grill assembly.

    Abstract: An autonomous cleaner includes a body having a first housing formed at a front and a second housing formed at a rear of the first housing; a brush unit installed at the first housing and configured to sweep and collect dust from a floor; a dust collecting unit installed at the second housing and configured to store the dust inlet into the brush unit; a driving unit to drive the body and coupled to the second housing to be positioned at a lateral side of the dust collecting unit; and a power unit installed at the second housing and coupled to be positioned at a rear of the dust collecting unit. The miniaturization of the autonomous cleaner may be provided while at the same time the capacity of a dust collecting container and the capacity of a battery are increased.

    Abstract: A cleaning robot may have a body, a moving unit provided on the body to move the body in a cleaning space, a cleaning unit provided on the body to clean a floor of the cleaning space, a floor image obtaining unit configured to obtain a floor image of the cleaning space, and a control unit configured to determine if foreign substance is present on the floor of the cleaning space based on the floor image, and control the moving unit to move the body to a position of the foreign substance, in which the cleaning robot, by obtaining an image of a floor to be cleaned, detects the foreign substance that is not positioned on a moving track of the cleaning robot, and when the foreign substance is detected, moves to the position of the foreign substance to perform a cleaning.

    Abstract: A robot cleaner includes a main body, a traveling unit installed in the main body, to move the main body, an ultrasonic sensor to emit an oscillation wave, to receive a reflection wave reflected from an object surface, and to output vibration generated by the oscillation wave and vibration generated by the reception of the reflection wave as an electrical signal, a waveform analyzer to calculate a generation time period of the electrical signal output from the ultrasonic sensor, and a controller to determine information about the object surface based on the calculated generation time period of the electrical signal, and to control movement of the traveling unit based on the information about the object surface.
