    Abstract: A high-resolution display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a first light-emitting device, a second light-emitting device, a first sidewall insulating layer, a second sidewall insulating layer, an insulating layer, a first coloring layer, and a second coloring layer. The first light-emitting device includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer, and a common electrode. The second light-emitting device includes a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer, and the common electrode. The first EL layer and the second EL layer emit white light. The first sidewall insulating layer is in contact with the side surface of the first pixel electrode. The second sidewall insulating layer is in contact with the side surface of the second pixel electrode. The insulating layer covers the side surface and part of the top surface of the first EL layer and the side surface and part of the top surface of the second EL layer. The first coloring layer overlaps with the first light-emitting device. The second coloring layer overlaps with the second light-emitting device. The first coloring layer and the second coloring layer have functions of transmitting light of different colors.

    Abstract: A display apparatus with high display quality is provided. The display apparatus includes a pixel portion and a dummy pixel portion placed outside the pixel portion and not contributing to display; the pixel portion includes a plurality of light-emitting devices; each of the light-emitting devices includes a pixel electrode, a first layer that includes a light-emitting layer, and a common electrode; the first layers of adjacent pixels of a plurality of pixels are separated by a first insulating layer containing an inorganic material and a second insulating layer containing an organic material; the side surface of the first layer includes a region in contact with the first insulating layer; the second insulating layer is over and in contact with the first insulating layer and is placed below the common electrode; the dummy pixel portion includes a plurality of dummy light-emitting devices; each of the dummy light-emitting devices includes a conductive layer and a second layer; the side surface of the second layer includes a region in contact with the first insulating layer; the second insulating layer is over and in contact with the first insulating layer; the conductive layer contains the same material as the pixel electrode; and the second layer contains the same material as the light-emitting layer.

    Abstract: A high-definition display apparatus is provided. A display apparatus with low power consumption is provided. A display apparatus with high luminance is provided. A display apparatus with a high aperture ratio is provided. The display apparatus includes a first wiring, a second wiring, a third wiring, and a pixel electrode. The first wiring extends in a first direction and is supplied with a source signal. The second wiring extends in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and is supplied with a gate signal. A constant potential is applied to the third wiring. In addition, the first wiring and the pixel electrode are provided to overlap with each other with the third wiring therebetween. An insulating layer includes a portion in contact with part of a top surface of the pixel electrode and a portion in contact with a side surface of the pixel electrode. An EL layer includes a first portion in contact with another part of the top surface of the pixel electrode and a second portion positioned over the insulating layer. The second portion includes a region whose thickness is half or less of thickness of the first portion.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating a display device with high resolution is provided. A display device having both high display quality and high resolution is provided.
