摘要: An acceleration sensor includes a driver circuit for outputting a biased alternating-current (AC) voltage having a variable bias voltage, a detector element having a capacitance provided between a fixed electrode and a movable electrode changing depending on acceleration applied to the detector element, a current-voltage (C/V) converter for converting a current output from the movable electrode of the detector element into a voltage and outputting the voltage, a first operational amplifier outputting a voltage depending on the input voltage, a synchronous demodulator for synchronously detecting the voltage output from the first operational amplifier, and a defect detector for outputting a defect detection signal when the defect detector determines that the voltage output from the first operational amplifier is out of a predetermined range while the biased AC voltage output from the driver circuit is a predetermined voltage. This acceleration sensor can have a small size.

摘要: A rotational-rate sensor is provided which includes a detecting element, a circuit portion, an airtight container and an elastic body, in which: the synthetic resonance-frequency of a machine system of the rotational-rate sensor and the frequency of an applied rotational rate which corresponds to the difference between the resonance frequency in the direction where the detecting element is driven and the resonance frequency of the detecting element in the direction where the detecting element detects a rotational rate, are each lower than each of the resonance frequency in the direction where the detecting element is driven and the resonance frequency in the direction where the detecting element detects a rotational rate; and the cut-off frequency of the low-pass filter in the circuit portion is lower than each of the synthetic resonance-frequency and the frequency of the applied rotational rate.

摘要: A vibrator is received within a case and the case is contained in a containing portion. Further, the case is arranged to be supported by the surrounding terminals having first ends thereof embedded in the containing portion. By virtue of the described configuration, the vibrator is securely retained by the case even if strong vibrations are applied to the terminals. 摘要: An angular rate sensor is capable of restraining an output voltage of the sensor from being offset by suppressing a current flowing in and out of a common terminal so as to prevent it from flowing in and out of a side of a reference voltage generator. The angular rate sensor is provided with a buffer between a reference voltage generator and a support pin, which serves as a common terminal for a vibration exciter, a detector for detecting a level of vibrations, and a detector for detecting a Coriolis' force. A current flowing in and out of the support pin is prevented from flowing in and out of a side of the reference voltage generator.
