摘要: A pile jacking sleeve includes a structural sleeve having a bottom section, an intermediate section and a top section. A stationary plate partitions the bottom section from the top section. A floating plate separates the intermediate section from the top section. A hinged door at the top section allows lateral entry of a piling into the top section when the door is open. An aperture allows insertion and removal of at least one jack into the intermediate section. Actuation of the jack urges the floating plate away from the stationary plate, controllably imparting a load to installed piling. A plurality of bolt holes are also provided in the sleeve to secure piling thereto. The sleeve may be jacketed for additional protection. A plurality of grout windows are also provided in the sleeve to enable filling the structure with a solidifying filler.

摘要: A device for removing breast tissue may include a shaft and a cutting element mounted to the shaft. The cutting element may be movable between a bowed position and a straightened position. The cutting element may bow outward away from the shaft when in the bowed position. The cutting element may have an elongate cutting side which cuts tissue when the shaft is rotated. The cutting element may have a length that is at least 25 times larger than a width of the cutting element.

摘要: A reporting system provides users selective access to information, such as standard reports, custom reports, and ad hoc reports. Reports are represented as report objects that store characteristics that must be fulfilled prior to a user being granted access to a report. Upon a user request for a specific report, the characteristics of the user are compared with the characteristics stored in the corresponding report object. If the user characteristics match the report object, then the user is granted access to the corresponding report. If the user characteristics do not match the report object, then the user is denied access to the corresponding report. Accordingly, access to a report is verified twice, once upon presenting an indication of the available reports to the user and again when a selected report is accessed. Preferably, the reporting system comprises a report server connected to a network, such as the Internet.

摘要: A waste line connector assembly for a food waste disposer includes a tailpipe member having a first inlet connectable to an outlet of a food waste disposer, a second inlet connectable to a waste water outlet of a dishwasher, and an outlet connectable to a waste or drain line. A one-way valve, such as a duck-bill valve, is in fluid communication with the second inlet. A flexible coupler, may be provided to be connected to the outlet, with one or both ends of the coupler being angled and rotatably connected to the outlet and/or the waste line so that the angular position of the waste line is variable relative to the tailpipe member.

摘要: The ornamental device comprises a unitary body having a spine and a plurality of arms extending from the spine, each of the arms having a free end. The spine and at least one arm are selectively bendable at any point along their lengths. The spine is bendable rotationally and sideways. In certain desired embodiments, the ornamental device is selectively bendable at any point along the length of each arm. Most desirable in where the ornamental device is bendable into a configuration having each arm resting in a different plane. Also desirable is an embodiment that finds the device bendable into a configuration substantially planar.

摘要: A food waste disposer includes a housing defining an inlet opening and a grinding mechanism driven by a motor for grinding food waste received into the housing through the inlet opening. An annular retaining collar has one end for connecting to a sink opening, via a standard sink mount, for example. An annular elastomeric coupler is situated about the opposite end of the annular retaining collar and connected to the housing for vibrationally isolating the annular retaining collar from the housing. The primary loading on the elastomeric material is in shear. Elastomeric materials in shear are particularly effective in absorbing both vibration and shock loads.

摘要: The invention includes a method of using a cap containing an internal thread form matching an external thread form on a flexible throat for a collapsible tube enclosing at least one contained product. Twisting the cap engages the internal thread form and the external thread form. These collectively urge the cap and the flexible throat to seal the contained product into the collapsible tube. Deforming the flexible throat through squeezing the collapsible tube dispenses essentially all the product. The collapsible tube may preferably include an external thread form on a flexible throat coupled to a flexible shoulder. The external thread form mates to a cap with an internal thread form urging the flexible throat to seal against the cap when the cap is twisted onto the flexible throat. The flexible throat and flexible shoulder flatten to dispense essentially all of the product.

摘要: A method and apparatus for etching photomasks is provided herein. In one embodiment, a method of etching a photomask includes providing a process chamber having a substrate support pedestal adapted to receive a photomask substrate thereon. An ion-radical shield is disposed above the pedestal. A substrate is placed upon the pedestal beneath the ion-radical shield. A process gas is introduced into the process chamber and a plasma is formed from the process gas. The substrate is etched predominantly with radicals that pass through the shield.
