The relative angle detecting system includes a light source having a given polarizing direction and a light reception unit in which a plurality of polarization filters having different polarizing directions other than 90 degree and a plurality of light-receiving devices for receiving light passing through the filters are incorporated, and a relative angle is calculated on the basis of a combination of strengths of output signals of the plurality of light-receiving devices.

    摘要: A dielectric ceramics contains, at least, two kinds of metal ions and a dielectric constant changes continuously or step by step as a function of position. The metal ions contained in the dielectric ceramics are, at least, two kinds which are selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn, Pb, Bi, Y, La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Er, Ti, Zr, Sn, Si and Mn, and the dielectric constant .epsilon. changes in the range of 7.ltoreq..epsilon..ltoreq.90. This dielectric ceramics is used in a dielectric substrate for stripline device, a dielectric substrate for monolithic IC and a dielectric block for polarizer. For example, when used as the dielectric substrate for stripline device, it is so formed that a dielectric constant at its center portion is constant, and that those at an outer portion becomes smaller step by step or continuously towards ends. In the case of forming a stripline on the dielectric substrate, when characteristic impedance is constant, a line width at a center portion of the dielectric substrate is narrow and it becomes wider towards ends.

An exemplary way of toughening the interfaces is as follows: a green sheet of solid electrolyte, a green sheet of fuel electrode and a green sheet of air electrode are laminated with the green sheet of electrolyte in the middle; sandpaper is put on each of the green sheet of fuel electrode and the green sheet of air electrode with a plastic film in-between in such a manner that the rough surfaces of the sandpaper face the green sheets of electrode; the laminate of green sheets is press-fixed, whereby the rough surfaces of the sandpaper roughen the interfaces; and the sandpaper and the plastic films are removed.

One of the two pawl elements may be moved and stoped at at least one position by operation of the drive source through detection of the detector, and then both two pawl elements are brought into engagement with both end portions of the zigzag spring, respectively, according to a length of the spring. The detector may comprise a plurality of proximity switches, one of which detects movement of such one of the pawl elements to that particular position. By those plural proximity switches, a base position may be set for that one of pawl elements in relation to another of them, according to a selected one of plural different zigzag springs with different lengths.

The valve assembly includes a reed valve assembly including a reed valve and a valve backer mounted behind the reed valve. The valve assembly includes a valve seat defining a recess receiving the reed valve assembly, and an elastic gasket and a holder elastically holding an end of the reed valve assembly within the recess so that the projection of the base plate pushes the end of the reed valve assembly on the bottom of the recess by means of the gasket. The valve backer limits the degree of opening of the reed valve and accelerates the return speed of the reed valve.

    摘要: A dielectric ceramic composition consists essentially of 80 to 99.7 wt % of a main component of a system, SrTiO.sub.3 -PbTiO.sub.3 -CaTiO.sub.3 -Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3 -TiO.sub.2 -SnO.sub.2, at least one oxide of rare earth elements incorporated therein as an additive in an amount of 0.1 to 5.0 wt % in terms of Re.sub.2 O.sub.3 (where Re is at least one rare element selected from the group consisting of Nd, La, Ce, Pr and Sm), and 0.2 to 15 wt % of a vitreous component. The main component consists essentially of 20.0 to 50.0 wt % of SrTiO.sub.3, 8.0 to 37.6 wt % of PbTiO.sub.3, 3.2 to 33.9 wt % of CaTiO.sub.3, 4.4 to 35.2 wt % of Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3, 2.5 to 13.6 wt % of TiO.sub.2 and 0.2 to 12.0 wt % of SnO.sub.2. The vitreous component consists essentially of 10 to 45 mol % of Li.sub.2 O, 5 to 40 mol % of at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of BaO, MgO, CaO and SrO, 0.2 to 10 mol % of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 30 to 70 mol % of at least two oxide selected from the group consisting of SiO.sub.2, MnO.sub.2 and TiO.sub.2, the content of SiO.sub.2 in the vitreous component being not less than 15 mol % at least, and 1 to 35 mol % of CuO.
