摘要: A hermetically sealed electric motor compressor, comprising a hermetically sealed casing, a reciprocating compressor unit mounted within the casing and compressing a working fluid, the compressor unit having a first discharge passageway, a valve assembly mounted within the casing and opening and closing the first discharge passageway, the valve assembly having a second discharge passageway, a discharge port mounted to the second discharge passageway within the casing and including a muffler. The muffler defines a plurality of resonance chambers. The discharge port includes a base plate having a projection. The valve assembly includes a reed valve assembly including a reed valve and a valve backer mounted behind the reed valve. The valve assembly includes a valve seat defining a recess receiving the reed valve assembly, and an elastic gasket and a holder elastically holding an end of the reed valve assembly within the recess so that the projection of the base plate pushes the end of the reed valve assembly on the bottom of the recess by means of the gasket. The valve backer limits the degree of opening of the reed valve and accelerates the return speed of the reed valve.

摘要: A hermetically sealed motor compressor for use in a small-size refrigerating machine, refrigerator, freezer and the like has a compressor on which is mounted a silencer comprising in combination a suction muffler of thermal insulating and a discharge muffler made of formed metal plates. The suction muffler has an suction port disposed near the open end of a suction coupling fixed to a sealed casing, and also has an connection pipe connected to a compressor cylinder and having a distal end fitted directly in a hole defined in an head plate which is mounted on the head of the cylinder. A refrigerant gas as it is introduced from the suction coupling into the sealed casing can be drawn into the cylinder through the suction port, the suction muffler and the connection pipe to minimize heat transfer to the suction gas, so that the compressor can increase its volumetric efficiency.

摘要: A lubricant for a refrigerating unit uses a hydrofluorocarbon system refrigerant with a polyol ester system oil as its base oil. The purity of hydrofluorocarbon system refrigerant is set to a level higher than 99.95 wt % and the mixing of chlorine impurity in the system refrigerant is set at a level lower than 80 ppm. The performance and reliability of a refrigerating unit using the hydrofluorocarbon system refrigerant, such as R134a, can be enhanced by making the polyol ester system oil of a chemical compound having particular physical properties, by suppressing the equilibrium water content of refrigeration cycle and by limiting the residual volume.

摘要: Novel antiflaming fibers having excellent dyeability and heat resistance are prepared from a matrix-polymerized resin which comprises polymerizing acrylonitrile in the matrix of a vinyl chloride resin. A vinyl chloride resin and/or an acrylonitrile resin can be added in a specific amount to the matrix-polymerized resin when dissolved in a spinning solvent. Substantially the same fibers are also prepared from blended polymers which comprise blending a specific vinyl chloride resin and a specific acrylonitrile resin in the specific proportion, by employing the coagulation bath of an aqueous solution of calcium chloride.

摘要: Provided are a physiological condition estimation device and a vehicle control device capable of preventing an error in the operation of an apparatus, such as a vehicle, and improving the safety of the operation of the apparatus. The physiological condition estimation device includes an eye-open time acquiring unit that acquires the eye-open time of the driver, a variation calculating unit that acquires a variation in the eye-open time acquired by the eye-open time acquiring unit, and a drowsiness predicting unit that determines the physiological condition of the driver on the basis of the variation in the eye-open time acquired by the variation calculating unit. In this way, since the physiological condition is determined on the basis of the variation in the eye-open time, it is possible to detect a slight reduction in the arousal level and estimate a significant reduction in the arousal level to a value that will cause an error in the driving of the vehicle in the future.
