摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide novel solutions, including systems, methods and/or software, for providing handoffs between cellular providers and VoIP providers. In some cases, for example, upon the initiation of a call from a dual-mode cellular phone, the cellular network (and/or a component thereof) may be configured to store the dialed number and/or substitute a predetermined number for the dialed number. The predetermined number may be associated with a VoIP provider's system. Hence, in a particular embodiment, the call may be routed (e.g., via the PSTN) to the VoIP provider's system, which may be configured to obtain (perhaps from an application server) the original dialed number and/or to route the call (e.g., via the PSTN) to the original dialed number. If the dual-mode phone subsequently obtains IP access, a VoIP connection may be established between the VoIP system and the phone and/or a handoff may be performed (e.g., in the VoIP system) to transfer the call from the cellular connection to the VoIP connection. Optionally, the cellular connection may be terminated.

摘要: A durable and wear resistant synthetic sports transition turf field having at least two strips with a plurality of fibrillated polypropylene strands tufted within a backing material. The strands are tufted in a wide variety of pile heights, patterns, gauges, and stitch patterns depending upon end use. The backing material consists of at least two layers of a woven material, with the bottommost one coated with a secondary coating used to contain the ends of the plurality of strands. The strips are placed onto a shock layer and coupled together using a hook and loop fastening system. The field is covered with an infill preferably consisting of resilient particles. The field is easily installed and removed and is ideal for use in indoor, multiuse sports and entertainment facilities that require a multitude of different flooring surfaces.

摘要: A modular synthetic grass playing surface system formed from a plurality of modular units. Each modular unit has a synthetic grass layer placed upon predetermined sized pallets having a pre-installed elastomeric layer. A layer of resilient particle infill is optionally introduced to the top surface of the modular unit. A corrugated plastic sleeve is optionally installed around each formed modular unit while the modular unit is stored and moved. A plurality of modular units are then installed onto a relatively flat surface to form the playing surface in a desired shape and size.

摘要: Certain embodiments of the invention provide network interface devices, as well as systems and methods for using them. In accordance with some embodiments, a network interface device may provide a controlled environment for an interior space defined by the exterior of network interface device. The network interface device may further be configured to be exposed to an interior of a subscriber premises and/or to allow for thermal transfer between the interior of the subscriber premises and the interior of the network interface device. In particular embodiments, the network interface device may be configured to be disposed at least partially within an external wall of the subscriber premises. In some cases, a portion of the network interface device exposed to the exterior of the subscriber premises may be insulated and/or one or more openings may be provided in the portion of the network interface device exposed to the interior of the subscriber premises, which can allow air to circulate between the interior of the subscriber premises and the interior of the network interface device.

摘要: A process is provided for the removal of HCl and HF from a hot gas stream concurrently with the removal of sulfur compounds. The process involves the introduction of an HCl/HF sorbent such as nahcolite, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate or Trona in powder form into the process stream at any one or all of four alternative locations in an amount sufficient to break down the HCl and HF into solid salts which are subsequently removed from the stream.
