    摘要: A keyless drill chuck includes a raising-and-lowering member which moves back and forth with reference to a shaft in order to secure a rear portion of the cutting tool, and jaws which grip the cutting tool in association with the movement of the raising-and-lowering member toward the jaws while the internal diameter of a circle defined by the jaws. The rear portion of the cutting tool is automatically gripped without the use of a chuck handle by means of a machining resistance transmitted to the jaws from the cutting tool and of the movement of the raising-and-lowering member caused by torsional torque transmitted to a shaft. A V-shaped recess is formed in the end of the raising-and-lowering member facing the jaws, so that the rear portion of the cutting tool can be removable, yet attached to the V-shaped recess.

    摘要: In a speed change gear system (1) in accordance with the present invention for changing between forward movement and rearward movement of a vehicle and for changing a speed of the vehicle by selectively fixing sun gears, carriers and ring gears of a plurality of epicyclic gear devices with respective mating clutches (8, 14, 24, 28), a brake (29) is connected to an output shaft (21) of this speed change gear system (1) to share energy absorption of the respective clutches, and the hydraulic pressure for the brake (29) is controlled in accordance with a rotation rate of the output shaft (21). Therefore, these clutches (8,14,18,24,28) can be small-sized. When the brake (29) is released, a quantity of lubrication oil being supplied is reduced, and therefore the stirring resistance of the lubrication oil can be reduced, and the transmission efficiency can be satisfactory.

    摘要: The present invention is to provide an on-demand type ink-jet printer which is free from the risk such that the nozzle is stopped and which is also free from the maintenance. An ink-jet print head comprises a liquid chamber (2) into which a carrier liquid (7) is filled, ink-jet driving means (3), (4) disposed within the liquid chamber (2), a nozzle (14) communicated with the liquid chamber (2) and a mixing unit (14a) disposed in the vicinity of the nozzle (14) for mixing an ink (9) into the carrier liquid (7). The ink (9) is mixed into the carrier liquid (7) in the liquid chamber (2) by the mixing unit (14a), pressed by the ink-jet driving means (3), (4) and then ink-jetted from the nozzle (14). Since the carrier liquid (7) is constantly filled into the nozzle (14), the nozzle (14) can be prevented from being choked up.

    摘要: To provide a high-thermal-conductivity piston ring having excellent scuffing resistance and wear resistance, which can be used in a high-heat-load environment in engines, a TiN coating as thick as 10-60 μm, in which the texture coefficient of a (220) plane is 1.1-1.8 in X-ray diffraction on the coating surface, larger than those of (111) and (200) planes, is formed under the optimized ion plating conditions on a peripheral surface of the piston ring. Also, to obtain excellent sliding characteristics with low friction without losing excellent thermal conductivity of TiN, a hard amorphous carbon coating is formed on the TiN coating.
