    摘要: An image capture device capable of capturing high quality images is disclosed. The image capture device comprises a shift register, each pixel of which has a plurality of transfer electrodes extending in a direction crossing a transfer direction of information charges. A potential well formed by function of the transfer electrodes is used to store and transfer information charges generated in response to light incident on a pixel. In this image capture device, during image capture, information charges are stored in a plurality of potential wells substantially separated from each other, and, during transfer, information charges stored in at least two of the plurality of potential wells are combined by addition to be transferred.

    摘要: A color image capture element comprises a plurality of color component photoelectric conversion elements, each disposed with a color filter on a light receiving surface for respectively transmitting different color components, for receiving incoming light and selectively outputting respective color signals corresponding to the intensity of the different color components, and an infrared component photoelectric conversion element, disposed with an infrared transmitting filter on a light receiving surface for transmitting an infrared component, for selectively outputting an infrared signal. This enables the infrared component included in at least one of a plurality of color signals to be corrected, thereby improving the sensitivity of a color image capture apparatus.

    摘要: A system for synthesizing an image signal for a main scene with a plurality of image signals from image pickup devices for taking inset scenes displays the inset scenes over the main scene on a single screen. The system forms a signal representative of a drive timing for a TV inset scene camera, from a synchronizing signal in an image signal for one main scene. The TV inset scene camera is actuated by the drive timing to provide an inset scene image signal synchronizing with the synchronizing signal of the main scene. The drive timing serves to switch the main scene image signal and the inset scene image signal from one to another to synthesize another image signal. If a plurality of image pickup devices are provided remotely from each other, these image pickup devices are connected with each other through a communication line. The synchronizing signal separated from the main scene image signal is supplied to each inset scene image pickup device through the communication line while the image signal from the inset scene image pickup device without a synchronizing signal is fed to the main scene image pickup device through a common communication line.

In the optical device, an optical element area for receiving light is formed on a first surface side of a substrate, and an external connection terminal is formed on a side of a second surface opposite to the first surface of the substrate.The transparent conductive film is formed to face the first surface of the substrate. The electrode pad is formed on the first surface of the substrate and configured to perform connection with a fixed potential.The penetrating electrode is connected to the electrode pad and formed to penetrate the substrate between the first surface and second surface.
