摘要： In a fuel injection timing control apparatus having a sensor for generating a signal indicating the actual timing of fuel injection in response to the fuel pressure occurring at the time of fuel injection for controlling the fuel injection timing in the mode of closed-loop control using the signal as a feedback signal, when the sensor stops producing the signal, the control mode is changed to the mode of open-loop control so as to continue the control operation of the fuel injection timing, and the state of zero injection of the fuel injection pump is distinguished from the occurrence of a malfunction in the sensor.

A unidirectional valve such as a reed valve is disposed inside the intake passage in series with the compressor in order to prevent backflow of the supercharged air inside the intake passage and thus to prevent a drop in the engine output when a throttle valve inside the intake passage is abruptly closed.

摘要： An optical disk is constructed such that a thin film including a reflective layer is formed on a substrate, or on a thermoplastic resin layer on the substrate. A stamper having an asperity pattern corresponding to information signals is directly pressed against the thin film to transfer the asperity pattern on the thin film. Heat-pressing the stamper against the thin film makes it possible to further accurately transfer the asperity of the stamper to the reflective layer with less pressing force in the case where the reflective layer is formed on a thermoplastic resin layer.

摘要： When displaying moving images by using liquid crystal panels and others, a problem exists in that tail streaks occur, and image degradation is resultantly caused. To solve this problem, an echo suppression circuit divides a video signal into a pair composed of two successive frames for comparison between these two frames in signal level for the purpose of suppressing an echo phenomenon occurring when a liquid crystal panel displays video signals including moving images. If these two frames are not the same in signal level, the signal is accordingly corrected so as to equalize the signal level of these frames. Based on the video signals and others corrected by the echo suppression circuit, a controller operates the liquid crystal panel with AC drive through a source driver and a gate driver. As such, the drive voltage used to operate the liquid crystal panel with AC drive is adjusted so as to be balanced between positive and negative. In this manner, the tail streaks are prevented when displaying moving images.
