Disclosed herein is a coating solution for use in forming Bi-based ferroelectric thin films comprises a specified compound, such as triglyme, dipivaloylmethane, pinacol, pivalic acid or hexyleneglycol, in combination with an organometallic compound containing metallic elements of which a Bi-based ferroelectric thin film to be formed is composed. Disclosed also herein is a method of forming Bi-based ferroelectric thin films using the coating solution.
Abstract:
A DNA synthesis method with a shortened time period required for DNA synthesis by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), characterized in that a DNA polymerase is used in an amount effective for providing more than 10 ng of amplified DNA fragments of about 2 kb per 50 &mgr;l of a reaction mixture, when PCR is carried out under the following conditions (A) and (B): (A) reaction mixture: 50 &mgr;l volume of a reaction mixture comprising DNA polymerase, 1 ng of genomic DNA from Escherichia coli, and 10 pmol each of primers Eco-1 and Eco-2 (nucleotide sequences of the primers Eco-1 and Eco-2 being shown in SEQ ID NOs: 10 and 11 of Sequence Listing, respectively); and having a composition suitable for the DNA polymerase; and (B) reaction conditions: 35 cycles of PCR, wherein one cycle consists of 99° C., 1 second-66° C., 7 seconds; a kit for DNA synthesis usable for the DNA synthesis method; and an article of manufacture of a PCR agent. According to the present invention, the procedures in the genetic engineering studies and industries involved with PCR can be speeded up.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an improved spinning washer comprising: a spinning table for fixedly holding a wafer to be washed; water flushing device; first brush which can be put in coplanar position relative to the lower surface of the wafer round the circumference of the spinning table; and second brush confronting the first brush. The second brush can be put in contact with the upper surface of the wafer in its operative position. The opposite surfaces and circumference side of the wafer can be washed without the fear of breaking the wafer no matter how it may be thin.
Abstract:
A lining for interior comprises a first layer composed of fibers of higher melting point, which are bound by a thermoplastic resin of lower melting point. A second layer is placed on the first layer, which is constructed of a thermoplastic resin of lower melting point. A third layer is placed on the second layer. The third layer is composed of fibers of higher melting point which are bound by a thermoplastic resin of lower melting point. A fourth layer is placed on the third layer, which is constructed of a thermoplastic resin of lower melting point. A fifth layer is placed on the fourth layer, which is constructed of an skin member having higher melting point. The first and third layers are bonded to each other through the second layer and the third and fifth layers are bonded to each other through the fourth layer.
Abstract:
An inventive release system for a seat occupant restrained by a seat belt in a vehicle can be operated both inboard and outboard. The system includes a seat belt retractor locked in response to abrupt deceleration or collision, a mechanism emergency-releasing the retractor after the retractor has been locked, and a manual control including a control terminal exerting a control power for actuating the mechanism and also including inboard and outboard control lever mechanism manually actuated to move the control terminal.
Abstract:
A seat belt system for an automotive vehicle, includes a shoulder belt the lower end of which is fixed to a floor of the vehicle body and the upper end of which is connected with a slider, a guide rail fixed relative to the vehicle body along its longitudinal direction, the guide rail having its engaging portion to be engaged with an engaging portion of the slider so that the slider is slidably fitted to the guide rail, means for actuating the slider in response to the opening and closing a door of the automotive vehicle, and means for locking the slider in its rearmost position, the engaging portion of the slider facing the side wall of the vehicle body to which the guide rail is fixed, so that the slider can slidably move between the guide rail and the side wall of the vehicle body.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a purchase file stores, by commodity, as information concerning purchase-desired commodities specified by a specifying unit, at least the numbers of purchase-planned items and purchase-planned amounts of the commodities. A privilege granting unit grants a privilege to the purchase of the purchase-desired commodities when a total of a total number of purchased items of the purchase-desired commodities obtained from a purchase-results storing unit, which stores information concerning commodities already purchased by a customer, and the numbers of purchase-planned items of the same commodities stored in the purchase file or a total of a total amount of purchased items of the purchase-desired commodities obtained from the purchase-results storing unit and purchase-planned amounts of the same commodities stored in the purchase file is equal to or larger than a threshold. A privilege display unit displays information concerning the privilege granted by the privilege granting unit.
