    摘要: A liquid crystal display module and its scanning circuit board therein. There are a first scanning circuit and a second scanning circuit located at both ends of each of the scanning lines in the LCD panel. While scanning, both the first scanning circuit and the second scanning circuit drive the same scanning line simultaneously, so as to equivalently reduce the delay effect caused by the RC time constant. The first scan driving circuit and the second scan driving circuit could be placed on different scanning circuit boards with the same layout. The scanning circuit board has two connectors at the both ends and a scanning interface at a side. The scanning circuit board could be used at both sides of the LCD panel by the rotation of 180°.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) element with a defect repairing function and a defect repairing method of the same. In an embodiment of the invention, a pixel is associated with a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines. Along with separate spare lines, melting connection can be obtained to form a circuit path and to compensate for broken wires. A single pixel can also have a plurality of subpixels with spare conduction ports and meltable joints so that defective electrodes can be separated. The spare conduction ports can be melted and connected so that other subpixels support and compensate for the defective subpixel to minimize pixel signal loss.

    摘要: A TFT LCD and the method of making the same are provided to prevent short circuits occurred between metal lines and transparent pixel electrodes. An insulating layer is provided to overlay the entire metal layer except the intersection areas for forming contact windows. Then, the transparent conductive layer is provided to form pixel electrodes and interconnection lines. Thus, even transparent conductive layer is not etched clearly and forming residuals, the residuals will not cause short circuits between the metal lines and transparent pixel electrodes. Eventually, the production yield rate can be increased. Moreover, a second metal layer is deposed under the transparent conductive layer to reduce the resistance of the interconnection lines.

    摘要: A high resolution matrix addressed flat panel display having single field emission microtip redundancy is formed. A dielectric base substrate is provided. Parallel, spaced conductors acting as cathode columns for the display are formed upon the substrate. A layer of insulation is located over the cathode columns. Parallel, spaced conductors acting as gate lines for the display is formed over the layer of insulation at a right angle to the cathode columns. The intersections of the cathode columns and gate lines are the pixels of the display. A plurality of openings at the pixels extend through the insulating layer and gate lines. At each of the pixels are a plurality of field emission microtips connected to and extending up from the cathode conductor columns and into the plurality of openings. There is a circular resistive layer surrounding each of the field emission microtips to obtain emission uniformity by sustaining the cathode to gate voltage.

    摘要: A pixel circuitry of a display device and a display method thereof are provided herein. The pixel circuitry includes a scan switch, a storage element, and a sampling circuitry. The scan switch has a first terminal coupled to a data line and configured to be asserted according to a scan signal. The storage element is coupled to a second terminal of the scan switch and configured to store a pixel voltage from the data line. The sampling circuitry is configured to sample the stored pixel voltage of the storage element and to obtain a reference voltage for the display device according to the sampled signal. By sampling the stored pixel voltage of the storage element, whether the pixel voltages with different polarities are symmetry can be detected for avoiding flickers.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a system and method of adaptively controlling a light-emitting diode (LED) backlight. A content analyzer analyzes luminance of image data to be displayed on a display panel. An LED current controller controls illumination of the LED backlight via an LED driver according to an analysis result of the content analyzer. The LED current controller over-drives the LED backlight such that a drive current flowing in the LED backlight is above a normal current, when the analysis result of the content analyzer indicates that the luminance of image data is above a predetermined value.
