摘要： An exhaust gas purifying apparatus is provided which includes a honeycomb structure used as a filter to capture particulates in exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine such as diesel engine and as a carrier of a catalyst to convert the exhaust gas. The honeycomb structure is formed from a composite material comprising ceramic particles and crystalline silicon. The particulates captured by the honeycomb structure are removed by combustion at a temperature of 250 to 800° C., thereby, even if a relatively low temperature is distributed or a heat cycle has been repeated from a long term, thermal stress is prevented from being stored, cracking is prevented and thermal shock resistance is thus improved.

摘要： The present invention relates to an electric power generator and its operation method, which electric power generator is equipped with a hydrogen generator, a polymer electrolyte fuel cell for generating electric power using hydrogen rich gas from the hydrogen generator, a burner for heating the hydrogen generator, a flow rate controller for controlling the supply amount of a burning fuel to the burner, a communicating pathway connecting the flow rate controller and the burner, a joint where at least a residual fuel gas from a fuel electrode of the fuel cell and/or an incompletely generated gas from the hydrogen generator are combined into the communicating pathway, and a pressure-transferring pipe for releasing the pressure between the joint and the flow rate controller into the flow rate controller; the flow rate controller controls the supply amount of the burning fuel on the basis of the above-mentioned pressure.

摘要： A compact camera has a camera case that covers up more than half of a camera body in a resting position where the camera case covers a taking lens, a flash projector, a battery chamber and a cartridge chamber. By sliding the camera case to a working position uncovering the taking lens and the flash projector, the flash projector springs up to a flashing position, and a main switch is turned on. Then, a lens barrel is protruded out of the camera body. Locking mechanisms are provided to stop the camera case at the working position. The camera case is allowed to move from the working position to the resting position by stowing the flash projector into the camera body. The camera case is allowed to move from the working position in an uncoving direction by operating a knob that is mounted in a room provided inside the battery chamber. The battery chamber is located behind the flash projector in the stowed position, and a battery chamber lid and the flash projecotr are mounted rotatable about the same axis. A door opening mechanism is provided for opening and closing a door member of a photo film cartridge loaded in the cartridge chamber in cooperation with sliding movement of the camera case. The door opening mechanism is interconnected with a ratchet lever such that the ratchet lever stops the camera case at a safety lock position where it is impossible to open the cartridge chamber, so long as the door member is open.

摘要： Flash light is repeatedly emitted in a pulse state by intermittently turning on and off an IGBT. The flash light reflected by a subject is received by a phototransistor to integrate a received light amount with a capacitor. While the IGBT is turned off, a charging voltage of the capacitor is converted to digital data. Based on the obtained data, it is judged whether emitting the flash light is stopped or not.

Information on the film is read by the bar code sensor on the basis of reflected light from the bar code plate while camera control information is read also by the bar code sensor on the basis of light projected from a light projecting portion of an information input system opposed to the light receiving portion of the bar code sensor. The arrangement of a signal processing circuit of the light receiving portion of the bar code sensor for processing signals obtained from light received by the light receiving portion is switched according to which of the information on the film and the camera control information is to be read so that the signal processing circuit is adapted to the signal to be processed.
