Abstract:
Disclosed is a flex die punching apparatus for forming an aperture in at least one sheet of material. There is a flexible, extrudable platen which, upon exertion of a force against it, extrudes at least a portion of at least one sheet of material through an aperture of a die. The flexible, extrudable platen may have a punch feature, corresponding to the shape and position of the die aperture, which assists in the extruding of the flexible, extrudable platen through the die aperture and also in the formation of the aperture in the sheet of material. In another embodiment of the invention, there may be a second die wherein the at least one sheet of material is placed between the first and second dies to form the aperture in the sheet of material.
Abstract:
A tool comprises a lower part (2) and an upper part (1). The upper part (1) of the tool can slide on guides (3) and has a force plug (7) and a blanking punch (4). A die-plate (5) arranged on the lower part (1) of the tool contains a mold cavity (16) of a die (6). The blanking punch (4) and the die-plate (5) each have a plurality of individual blanking elements (20, 30). Facing pairs of blanking elements (20, 30) have cutting edges (23, 33) directed toward the cutting line (15). The blanking elements (20, 30) have a polygonal cross-section and are aligned next to each other along their edges.
Abstract:
A device for trimming stems and the leafy plant structure projecting from a flower of a plant, for example a harvested flower of a marijuana plant. The device includes a blade head for supporting a pair of sheet blades, each sheet blade having a contact surface, the contact surface of the first sheet blade configured for reciprocating motion against the contact surface of the second. The first sheet blade and the second sheet blade are formed having numerous trimming apertures such that as the first sheet blade reciprocates against the second sheet blade, the plurality of first sheet blade trimming apertures and the plurality of second sheet aperture alternately, and at last partially, align and close creating a shearing action between the edges defining each of the plurality of first sheet blade trimming apertures and an edge defining each of the plurality of second sheet blade trimming apertures.
Abstract:
A cut-out laminated sheet can be prepared by laminating a protection sheet on a base sheet, followed by a simple two-step shearing process. The cut-out laminated sheet thus prepared features a protruding section that helps improving productivity by making the removal of the protection sheet easy; and thus, can be effectively used in a wide range of industrial applications such as a brittle sheet and a flexible sheet.
Abstract:
A method and related apparatus for scoring a workpiece are disclosed. A first scoring die has a score section structured to score a workpiece in a predetermined pattern, a second scoring die having as a score section structured to score a workpiece in a predetermined pattern substantially identical to the predetermined pattern of the first score scoring die. In operation the method and apparatus align the first scoring die and second scoring die and score the workpiece from opposite sides to effect complete or substantially complete reduction of the workpiece in a predetermined path to define a part. The workpiece will generally be a sheet. The scoring dies will each have score sections having one surface configured to be substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the workpiece and an adjacent angularly disposed surface structured to be adjacent to the scrap being produced by the scoring operation.
Abstract:
An apparatus comprises an operating device and a die suitable for interacting to form containers from a sheet material, a cutting device for separating said containers from said sheet material, said cutting means being so shaped as to be removably connectable to said operating device.
Abstract:
A method for making a punched headliner 20 adapted to be installed in a motor vehicle is provided. The method includes placing a flange element 32 within a punch tool 12, the punch tool 12 comprising a punching component 14 and a mating component 16. The flange element 32 is placed abutting the mating component 16. A headliner blank 18 is placed within the punch tool 12 between the punching component 14 and the flange element 32. A punching edge 22, positioned on the punching component 14, is moved towards the mating component 16. The headliner blank 18 is thereby pressed between the punching edge 22 and the flange element 32. The punching edge 22 is pressed into contact with the flange element 32 such that a shearing edge 54 is formed on the headliner blank 18 and a waste component 46 is separated from the headliner blank 18.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for the separation of plastic cards, especially chip cards, from a sheet or strip material, with an upper and lower cutting tool giving the cutting outline which are designed to cut into a corresponding upper and lower side of the sheet or strip material with the retention of a residual cross-piece, whereby at least two upper and at least two lower cutting tools arranged in each case next to each other are provided for the forcibly coupled separation of several plastic cards.
