摘要: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for use in a fusion process for conduit. The method includes the steps of: removably positioning a first terminal edge of a first conduit portion with a first terminal edge of a second conduit portion; facing the terminal edges of the first conduit portion and the second conduit portion; aligning the terminal edges of the first conduit portion and the second conduit portion; melting at least a portion of the terminal edges of the first conduit portion and the second conduit portion; engaging the melted terminal edge of the first conduit portion with the melted terminal edge of the second conduit portion; maintaining pressure between the engaged terminal edges, thereby creating a fused joint area; and removing at least a portion of the resultant external bead extending around the fused joint area. A fusion apparatus for employing this method is also disclosed.

The method includes: heating and melting at least a portion of the terminal edges of the first conduit portion and the second conduit portion; and butt fusing the melted terminal edge of the first conduit portion with the melted terminal edge of the second conduit portion, thereby creating a fused joint area. A fusion apparatus for employing this method is also disclosed.

摘要: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for use in a fusion process for conduit. 摘要: A packaging and filling machine is capable of easily preforming with the forming flaps by keeping the pressure of the filled liquid food in the tube the positive pressure, capable of preventing the pressure of the liquid food from dropping to negative pressure, even if the pressure of the liquid food decreases due to the up-and-down of the liquid food pressure, and capable of preventing outside atmosphere materials from invading into the tube.A positive pressure keeping means absorbs fluctuation of the pressure of the liquid food in the tube below the pressure flange, and prevents the liquid food pressure from dropping in negative pressure to keep the pressure of the liquid food in the tube below the pressure flange a positive pressure.

摘要: A method for joining workpieces by welding with laser light, in which a plurality of workpieces are arranged between a lower pressure plate and a translucent upper pressure plate on a multiplicity of supporting segments movable in a vertical direction, whereby the workpieces are subsequently exposed through the upper pressure plate to a laser beam. The workpieces on the supporting are pressed together and towards the upper plate with a prescribed contact pressure, the spacing of the supporting segments from the upper pressure plate being set variably and independently from each other. A device for joining workpieces by welding with laser light, comprises at least one upper pressure plate of transparent material and a lower pressure plate with multiplicity supporting segments for the workpieces. The supporting segments are arranged side by side on the lower plate and are movable in a vertical direction by compressed air and can be set independently from each other.

摘要: Method and apparatus for heat-welding two members by applying radiation, such as infra-red radiation, through one of the members to enter layer(s) interposed between the two members. Method relies on inclusions through thickness of the layer(s) to be responsive to said radiation to raise temperature through thickness and promote bonds at inter-faces with surfaces of said members. The bonds are assessed using thermal imaging camera detecting a near visible radiation arising from the layer(s), which radiation is different from infra-red used for heating.
