    摘要: Methods of preparing improved settable compositions free of Portland cement and methods of using such compositions in subterranean operations are provided. An example of a method of preparing such compositions may comprise providing an unhydrated mixture of raw materials comprising a silica component, an aluminum component, a magnesium component, a sodium component, a calcium component, a ferrous or ferric component, a sulfurous component, and a potassium component, wherein the mixture has been formed without heating any of the components to above about 3000° F.; and adding water to the unhydrated mixture of raw materials to form a settable composition.

    摘要: There is disclosed a board and a board composition using clay and crushed vegetational materials, which is environment friendly and recirculative and can be also used as a natural basic material for articles of furniture or architectural interior/exterior materials, thereby being used as compost when being scrapped, and a manufacturing method thereof. The board is fabricated by forming a composition fabricated by mixing vegetational material, clay, a seaweed adhesive and a functional adhesive, and an auxiliary material at a ratio of 40˜65:40˜10:10˜20:10˜5 weight percent, and then throwing the composition into a hopper; withdrawing the composition received in the hopper so as to be passed between a pair of rollers and then molding the composition in a desired size; passing the composition between the rollers heated at a temperature of 100˜300° C. and disposing paper or woven fabrics at upper and lower surface of the composition and then pressing the composition along with the paper or woven fabrics; and cutting the pressed composition in a desired size.

    摘要: A composition for sealing porous subterranean formations comprises a mixture of a water-swellable clay and a water insoluble, water absorbent, water-swellable polymer, wherein the mixture is coated with a material that is resistant to penetration by water. The water penetration resistant material helps the delay the onset of swelling of the clay and polymer until it reaches the formations intended for sealing. Mixing the clay with the water-swellable polymer prior to coating assists in coating of the water-swellable polymer with the water penetration resistant material. The coated mixture can be suspended in an aqueous liquid, and then pumped into a subterranean cavity to seal porous formations therein.

    摘要: A soil substitute material includes from about 2 to about 9 parts by weight of crushed brick; from about 5 to about 25 parts by weight of a filler material; from about 60 to about 90 parts by weight of raw clay; and, from about 0 to about 3 parts by weight of a hydrating material. The material is compacted at from about 3500 to about 5000 pounds per square inch. A method of preparing a soil substitute includes admixing the components with from about 5 to about 18 parts by weight of water and compressing the hydrated mixture at from about 3500 to about 5000 pounds per square inch.
