    摘要: Disclosed herein is a process for preparing a linear hydroxyaryloxy-functional polydiorganosiloxanes having controlled structures. The process includes the step of reacting a linear α,ω-bisacyloxypolydiorganosiloxane with at least one bisphenolic compound, or hydroxy-functional oligomer thereof, in such a molar ratio that the phenolic groups in the bisphenolic compound or the hydroxy-functional oligomer thereof to the acyloxy groups in the α,ω-bisacyloxypolydiorganosiloxane is less than 2.0. Also disclosed are hydroxyaryloxy-functional polydiorganosiloxanes produced from the process and the polysiloxane/polyorgano block copolymers made using the hydroxyaryloxy-functional siloxanes.

    摘要: To provide a highly efficient and stable method for the preparation of a silicon-containing polysulfide-type polymer, in particular, a polysulfide-type polymer with organosilyl groups, the method being carried out without generation of by-products that could have high impact on the environment. A method for the preparation of a silicon-containing polysulfide-type polymer characterized by mixing (A) a silicon-containing compound having a silicon atom-bonded monovalent organic group having an aliphatic unsaturated bond; (B) a polysulfide polymer with at least two mercapto groups in one molecule; and (C) an organic base or ammonia; the mixing being carried out in the presence of (D) sulfur.

The reaction products contain at least one silicone copolymer formed by the addition of the silicon bonded hydrogen atoms of the organohydrogensiloxane across the aliphatic unsaturated bond in the vegetable oil. A process for preparing such compositions and their use in personal care products is further disclosed.
