摘要: The present invention provides a soft polyurethane foam obtained by foam molding a foaming stock solution containing a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a foaming agent, and a catalyst. The polyol includes a polyether polyol A having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 3,000 to 8,000 and 3 to 4 functional groups and a polyether polyol B having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 1,000 to 4,000 and 2 functional groups. The polyisocyanate includes diphenylmethane diisocyanate.

摘要: Golf ball multi-layered core sub-assemblies and the resulting golf balls are provided. The core structure includes a foam inner core (center); and intermediate and outer core layers. Foamed polyurethane is preferably used to make the inner core. The intermediate and outer core layers are preferably made from non-foamed thermoplastic compositions such as ethylene acid copolymer ionomer. In an alternative version, the intermediate core layer may be made of a thermoset rubber such as polybutadiene. The core layers have different hardness and specific gravity levels. The core structure and resulting ball have relatively good resiliency.

摘要: Skinned composites contain a plasticized polymer skin layer adhered to a layer of a polyurethane. The polyurethane is made from a reaction mixture that contains specified amounts of a polyester polyol and an acidic material. The presence of both the polyester polyol and acid leads to significantly improved adhesion between the polyurethane and skin layer. The invention is particularly useful when the skin is highly plasticized.

摘要: An adhesive composition is made from a first part containing an isocyanate group-containing prepolymer that is a reaction product of a first isocyanate and at least one polyol; and a second isocyanate that is essentially unreacted with the first isocyanate, the at least one polyol, and the isocyanate group containing prepolymer; and a second part containing at least two polyols; wherein the adhesive composition is essentially free of diluent oils and solvents. A polyurethane adhesive is made by mixing the first part and the second part in a 1:1 to 1.2:1 weight ratio of the first part to the second part to form a mixture, and curing the mixture. The polyurethane adhesive can be used in articles, including semipermeable membranes and reverse osmosis modules. When a solvent is filtered through the semipermeable membranes by reverse osmosis, the polyurethane adhesive prevents or reduces osmotic blistering.
