摘要: The present invention provides a transport or conveyor belt structure, particularly for use in heavy duty environments such as mining, aggregate and ore handling and other industrial conditions, where the belt preferably comprises a carcass that is made from identical cross-shaped interengaging metal links embedded within the body of the belt so as to provide both strength and flexibility. A method of making such a belt comprising building up layers of belt material and links is also described as are unique structures for joining and splicing belt ends or sections.

摘要: A fiber reinforced composite belt in which a stainless steel fiber aggregate having a diameter of from 5 to 50 .mu.m and impregnated with 1 to 10% by weight of a thermosetting resin such as an epoxy resin is buried as a reinforcing material in a base material for belt, and a process for preparing the above-mentioned fiber reinforced composite belt are provided. This fiber reinforced composite belt is much more excellent in flex resistance, durability, water resistance and coefficient of linear expansion, as compared with not only a rubber belt and a synthetic resin elastomer belt but also belts reinforced by directly burying a stainless steel fiber and a steel fiber in the rubber.

摘要: A belt for use as for example an elevator belt, flat belt, synchronous belt or toothed belt comprises steel strands held in parallel by a polymer jacket. The steel strands have a diameter ‘D’ and are separated by a pitch ‘p’. The ratio of diameter ‘D’ over pitch ‘p’ is larger than 0.55. Such belt arrangement prevents the cutting of the polymer jacket between strand and pulley and abates the noise generation during use. The belts are best built with a type of parallel lay strands particularly designed for use in a belt. These strands do not show core migration during use of the belt.

摘要: A transport, driving or pressing belt, comprising at least one belt material having a lower and an upper face limited by two longitudinal edges and two transverse edges running obliquely with respect to the main extension direction of the belt, the belt material being closed and the longitudinal edges being folded down, and a method for manufacturing a transport, driving or pressing belt. To ensure high tensile strength over the complete belt length and avoid an edge tearing of the first belt material at the longitudinal edges, the transverse edges of a first belt material lie against each other in abutting relationship, and a second belt material is arranged centrically on the first belt material at least in the region of the transverse edges. The second belt material here nearly covers a width of 50% of the first belt material and is centrically glued with the first belt material.

摘要: A power transmission belt and a method for manufacturing said belt. The belt includes: a backing layer made of a material with elastomeric behaviour; a ventral layer made of a material with elastomeric behaviour; a mechanical reinforcement means inserted between the backing layer and the ventral layer comprising a film with thermoplastic transformation surrounding the mechanical reinforcement means, said film comprising at least: a first component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the backing layer; a second component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the mechanical reinforcement means; and a third component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the ventral layer. The method for manufacturing said belt may advantageously use an anti-sticking means.
