    摘要: An electrical junction box that improves the reliability of the electrical connections formed therein by avoiding of damage to the fork shaped terminals in the connector block by preventing the invasion of foreign objects. A shutter cover is located along the front and rear walls of the connector block to expose and cover slits which are formed at specific intervals on front and rear walls of the connector block. The shutter cover is constructed from two comb shaped side members having alternating open portions and solid portions, and a connecting portion that joins one edge of each side member. The shutter cover is attached at a position where solid portions cover the slits of the connector block before the connector block is inserted into the connector receptacle of the upper case. The complete insertion of the connector block into the connector receptacle results in the shutter cover moving to a position that aligns open portions to the slits, thus allowing the insertion of busbars into the slits.

    摘要: A sensor system includes a plurality of sensor bodies arranged aligned and adjacent to each other, each of said sensor bodies being connected to an electric cord including at least a signal line via a connector. Each connector has a power feed terminal, and a detachable fitting for electrically connecting the power feed terminals of the connectors is provided between the connectors. The power supplied to the connector of any of the sensor body through the power feed line in the electric cord is distributed to the power feed terminal of another sensor body through a row of connectors. By this configuration, the number of power feed lines for the overall system can be significantly reduced, and common bodies not distinguished for the main and sub bodies can be used as the sensor bodies, whereby the cost can be reduced and inventory management can be facilitated. Further, when any of the sensor bodies fails, it is possible to simply exchange the failed sensor body only, while maintaining the use of the electric cord that has been used.

The wiring junction block includes a body having an input end including a first set of electrical terminals for receiving electrical power from a vehicle wiring harness. The body also has an output end including a second set of electrical terminals for supplying the received electrical power to one or more vehicle lamps. The second set of terminals includes at least one group of two or more terminals that are electrically shorted to each other. The number of terminals in the first set is less than the number of terminals in the second set. A mounting feature is located on the body and is adapted to enable mounting of the body to a vehicle support structure, e.g. apertured panel. The input and output terminals may be electrically connected by stamped circuit traces or a printed circuit board.

The terminal piece is formed by stamping out a substantially U-shaped piece from a conductive metal sheet and includes a first leg portion with a first contact section, a shoulder portion and a second leg portion with a second contact section, the first leg portion being longer than the second leg portion. The first conductor element includes a terminal path hole and a terminal-fixing hole.
