摘要: A real-time Internet streaming system and method includes a scheduling server that receives queries from encoders and determines if any scheduled events associated with a particular media encoders is an active scheduled event by comparing the scheduled events with time and date information. When there is an active scheduled event the scheduling server sends a response to the media encoders to stream a media stream to an origin server. When the scheduling server determines that an active scheduled event is no longer active, the scheduling server sends a response to the media encoders to stop streaming. The origin server can send the media stream or a modified version of the media stream to a plurality of viewing devices or archive the media stream for later playback. The real-time Internet streaming system can include a scheduling server, origin servers, and a plurality of encoders.

摘要: A hardened VoIP system is presented that includes secure push-to-talk voice functionality. Through the addition of encryption, authentication, user filtering, and integration with new and existing LMR systems, a secure voice platform ensures malicious software, unauthorized access, and brute force security attacks will not compromise the voice communications of the system. The VoIP system is engineered to ensure graceful system degradation in the event of maintenance activities, natural disasters, and failure modes. The hardened VoIP system offers the functions of a LMR trunking system while utilizing broadband connections. Private calls, group calls, Emergency Alarms with covert monitoring capability, scanning, and priority scanning may be incorporated into the system. The system includes a VoIP controller that serves as a trunking controller, manages available VoIP based conference bridges, and assigns them as needed to the parties involved in each voice call.

摘要: A method of exchanging data packages between first and second portable communication devices over a bi-directional wireless communication channel, where at least one of the first and second portable communication devices comprises a hearing instrument, includes: generating, by the first portable communication device, a plurality of data packages that includes a first data package, wherein a first subset of the plurality of data packages belongs to a first packet category comprising audio data, and a second subset of the plurality of data packages belongs to a second packet category without audio data; and transmitting the plurality of data packages from the first portable communication device to the second portable communication device; wherein a size of the data packages in the second subset belonging to the second packet category is smaller than a size of the data packages in the first subset belonging to the first packet category.

An AIT acquisition and analysis unit acquires mapping information in which a first directory structure, to be used in the case of transmitting a resource constituting an application program by a first transmission system, and a second directory structure, to be used in the case of transmitting a resource constituting the application program by a second transmission system, are associated with each other. When an application program including a resource created in accordance with the first directory structure is transmitted by the second transmission system, a carousel processing unit allows the resource created in accordance with the first directory structure to correspond to the second directory structure using the mapping information to thereby acquire the application program transmitted by the second transmission system. The present technology is applicable to television receiver, for example.

摘要: A content selection system and method for identifying and organizing moods in content using objectively measured scores for rhythm, texture and pitch (RTP) and clustered into six mood classifications based on an objective analysis of the measured scores. Digitized representations of the content may also be identified and organized based on the content's frequency data, three-dimensional shapes derived from the digitized representations, and colors derived from the frequency data. Each piece of content may be identified by at least a mood shape, but may also be identified by a mood color and/or a mood based on the clustered RTP scores and/or the digitized representation. Users of the selection system may be able to view the moods identified in the different manners, or combinations of two or three mood identifying manners and select and organize content based on the identified moods.

This mobile intermediary entity or service can provide four primary call invocation types. Namely, calls can be invoked through a dialer of the mobile device, through a web interface accessed through the mobile device, through a mobile application executing on the mobile device, or through a personal assistant of similar service. The mobile intermediary entity or service can also provide rich, supplementary services for mobile callers. These services can include but are not limited to menu navigation, call continuity, caller geo-location awareness, and awareness of the caller's mobile network operator's identifier. Services natively provided by the called enterprise, such as call conferencing, can also be provided within the call.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, a related apparatus, and a system for recovering a called service of a terminal. The method includes: when a called request of a user terminal is received, querying an initial proxy-call session control function (P-CSCF) entity with which the user terminal currently registers; if it is detected that the initial P-CSCF is faulty, selecting an available P-CSCF and sending, to the available P-CSCF, a notification message that carries a redundancy identifier, where the redundancy identifier is used to instruct the available P-CSCF to trigger the user terminal to re-register with the P-CSCF; and when a registration complete message sent by the P-CSCF with which the user terminal re-registers is received, delivering the called request to the re-registered P-CSCF to bear a called service of the user terminal.
