A vehicle internal combustion engine is configured such that a crankshaft, a main shaft, a counter shaft and an output shaft are arranged in parallel in a crankcase with the main shaft being disposed to the rear of the crankshaft and the counter shaft is disposed to the rear of the main shaft. The output shaft is disposed below and forward of the counter shaft.

    摘要: Fuel management system for efficient operation of a spark ignition gasoline engine. Injectors inject an anti-knock agent such as ethanol directly into a cylinder of the engine. A fuel management microprocessor system controls injection of the anti-knock agent so as to control knock and minimize that amount of the anti-knock agent that is used in a drive cycle. It is preferred that the anti-knock agent is ethanol. The use of ethanol can be further minimized by injection in a non-uniform manner within a cylinder. The ethanol injection suppresses knock so that higher compression ratio and/or engine downsizing from increased turbocharging or supercharging can be used to increase the efficiency of the engine

    摘要: An engine control device for work vehicle includes: a rotation speed control device that controls a rotation speed of an engine according to an operation amount of an accelerator pedal; a travel drive device that transmits a rotation of the engine to wheels through a torque converter and a transmission; a water temperature detection device that detects a physical quantity correlated with a cooling water temperature of the engine; a speed ratio detection device that detects a speed ratio of an input shaft and an output shaft of the torque converter; and a speed limit device that limits a maximum rotation speed of the engine to a limit rotation speed which is lower than an upper limit value if the water temperature detection device detects an overheat state in which the cooling water temperature is equal to or higher than a predetermined value when the speed ratio detected by the speed ratio detection device is in a limit speed ratio region where a torque converter efficiency is equal to or less than a predetermined value.

    摘要: An electromagnetic motor includes a permanent magnet connected to a piston component of the motor and defining a linear reciprocating displacement path; and two electromagnets connected to the cylinder housing that periodically and alternately interact with the permanent magnet. The electromagnets are electrically connected to a power source for their selective activation. The electromagnets magnetically attract the permanent magnet over a respective first portion of the displacement path when un-activated and magnetically repulse the permanent magnet over a respective second portion of the displacement path when momentarily activated by the power source. The motor could include a plurality of second permanent magnets connected to the crankshaft and defining a circular displacement path, and a plurality of third electromagnets connected to the power source and mounted on the crankcase adjacent and radially outwardly from the circular displacement path of the second permanent magnets to periodically and successively interact therewith.
