The device is further configured to determine that the amount of time to close a pressure switch exceeds a time threshold value. The device is further configured to receive an audio signal from a microphone while operating the HVAC system, to identify an audio signature for the combustion air inducer, and to determine the audio signature for the combustion air inducer is present within the audio signal. The device is further configured to determine a fault type based on the determination that the audio signature for the combustion air inducer is present within the audio signal, to identify a component identifier for a component of the HVAC system that is associated with fault type, and to output a recommendation identifying the component identifier.

    摘要: An air conditioner of the present embodiment includes a heat exchanger unit in which an installation position of a suction temperature sensor can be changed and the air conditioner is capable of determining whether the installation position of the suction temperature sensor is correct. During a cooling operation, a heat exchange temperature is lower than a suction temperature, and during a heating operation, the heat exchange temperature is higher than the suction temperature. However, if a suction temperature sensor is incorrectly disposed on a downstream side of a flow of air in an indoor heat exchanger, the suction temperature detected by the suction temperature sensor is a temperature of indoor air after exchanging heat with a refrigerant in the indoor heat exchanger, so that the heat exchange temperature and the suction temperature are close to each other regardless of the cooling operation or the heating operation.

    摘要: A freeze protection system for a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) system is shown. The freeze protection system includes a temperature sensor positioned at an inlet of a coil within which a liquid is at risk of freezing, and a controller comprising a processor and memory. The memory stores instructions that are executed by the processor. The processor is instructed to obtain a measured temperature of the liquid at the inlet of the coil from the temperature sensor, compare the measured temperature of the liquid at the inlet of the coil with a freeze prevention temperature threshold, engage a freeze prevention action in response to a determination that the measured temperature of the liquid at the inlet of the coil is less than or equal to the freeze prevention temperature threshold.
