Abstract:
A vehicle brake controller is capable of executing limit control when a driver is performing a brake pedal operation during turning of a vehicle, to limit an increase in a braking force applied to an inner wheel that is a wheel positioned on the inner side of the turn. The vehicle brake controller is configured to start the limit control when a wheel state value that becomes greater as deceleration of the inner wheel becomes greater exceeds a start determination value that is set to a value greater than zero.

In a check valve in which a valve part is disposed in a valve part accommodating recess movably relative to a piston part, among the valve part accommodating recess, an anti-valve seat side accommodation space formed between a surface of the valve part accommodating recess in an anti-valve seat side of the valve part and a wall surface of the valve part accommodating recess are communicated to exit side fluid passages.
Abstract:
A control apparatus for a vehicle includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry calculates a target torque such that the greater the amount of brake operation is, the smaller the target torque becomes. The processing circuitry controls the drive motor such that the creep torque is smaller when brake operation is being performed by the driver than when the brake operation is not being performed by the driver. The control circuitry controls the brake device such that, when the brake operation is being performed by the driver, the brake torque approaches a target brake torque. The processing circuitry sets a decrease gradient of the creep torque to be smaller than a decrease gradient of the target torque when the brake operation amount is increased under a condition in which the creep torque is being output by the drive motor.
Abstract:
There is provided a brake control device for a brake device including a basic fluid pressure generating unit which generates a basic fluid pressure according to an operation to a brake operating member, a hydraulic pump which generates a fluid pressure to generate a differential pressure, a pressure regulating valve which regulates the differential pressure, and a friction brake mechanism which applies a fluid pressure obtained by adding the differential pressure to the basic fluid pressure, to a wheel cylinder. The control device includes a regulating unit which regulates the differential pressure according to an operating amount correlated value and which decreases the differential pressure according to an increase of the basic fluid pressure due to an increase of the operating amount correlated value when the vehicle is stopped and the differential pressure is regulated to a value larger than 0 by an operation to the brake operating member.
Abstract:
A brake device for a vehicle is equipped with an electric motor which drives a pump to deliver brake fluid to a wheel cylinder installed in a wheel of the vehicle. The brake device works to control pressure of the brake fluid in the wheel cylinder for creating a target braking force. In response to an increase in stroke of a brake pedal, the brake device elevates the pressure in the wheel cylinder gradually without sharply changing it. This eliminates deterioration of a driver's braking feeling arising from a variation in deceleration of the vehicle and ensures smooth deceleration of the vehicle intended by the driver of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A rotating pump includes an outer and an inner rotor disposed in a casing with a gap between the casing and the outer rotor. The rotating pump also includes a first and a second sealing member in the casing to define a low-pressure region and a high-pressure region within the gap. Each of the first and second sealing members is made up of a seal functioning portion and an elastically pressing portion. The seal functioning portion includes a resinous member and a deformation-suppressing member. The resinous member contacts the outer rotor and a low-pressure side inner surface of the casing to establish a difference in pressure between the low-pressure region and the high-pressure region. The deformation-suppressing member works to stop the resinous member from deforming undesirably. This minimizes the risk of breakage of the resinous member and enables the rotating pump to discharge the fluid at an increased pressure.
Abstract:
A vehicle brake device is provided with a regulator for generating a servo pressure acting on a master piston in a master cylinder, based on a pilot pressure. The regulator is provided with a brake fluid absorbing section communicating with a first pilot chamber for absorbing the brake fluid as the pilot pressure in the first pilot chamber in the quantity depending on the fluid pressure in the first pilot chamber. The brake fluid absorbing section comprises a piston receiving portion formed in a second piston and opening to the first pilot chamber, a pressure receiving piston slidably received in the piston receiving portion and making the first pilot chamber variable in capacity, and an urging member urging the pressure receiving piston toward the first pilot chamber side.
Abstract:
A gear pump apparatus is equipped with a pump and a sealing mechanism which is made up of an outer member, an inner member, and a rubber member fit between the outer and inner members. The inner member has a pressure-exerted surface to which pressure, as produced by contact of the rubber member with the inner member arising from application of discharge pressure of the pump, is applied. The pressure-exerted surface has a flange which creates thrust to move the inner member away from the gear pump, thereby bringing the inner member against an inner wall of a pump casing to develop a hermetical seal between a high-pressure region and a low-pressure region within the pump casing. This eliminates the leakage of pressure and ensures torque required for a pumping operation of the pump.
