Abstract:
An apparatus comprising a processor configured to send a first notification message to a first label switch router (LSR) to discover the upstream multipoint Label Distribution Protocol (mLDP) LSR, wherein the apparatus is configured to couple to the first LSR, and wherein the first LSR is not an mLDP LSR, receive a second notification message from the upstream mLDP node, and in response to receiving the second notification message, establish an mLDP Label Switch Path (LSP) to the upstream mLDP node via the first LSR.
Abstract:
In one example, a video coder is configured to code information indicative of whether view synthesis prediction is enabled for video data. When the information indicates that view synthesis prediction is enabled for the video data, the video coder may generate a view synthesis picture using the video data and code at least a portion of a current picture relative to the view synthesis picture. The at least portion of the current picture may comprise, for example, a block (e.g., a PU, a CU, a macroblock, or a partition of a macroblock), a slice, a tile, a wavefront, or the entirety of the current picture. On the other hand, when the information indicates that view synthesis prediction is not enabled for the video data, the video coder may code the current picture using at least one of intra-prediction, temporal inter-prediction, and inter-view prediction without reference to any view synthesis pictures.
Abstract:
A method for use with an information (or data) warehouse comprises managing the information warehouse with instructions in a declarative language. The instructions specify information warehouse-level tasks to be done without specifying certain details of how the tasks are to be implemented, for example, using databases and text indexers. The details are hidden from the user and include, for example, in an information warehouse having a FACT table that joins two or more dimension tables, details of database level operations when structured data are being handled, including database command line utilities, database drivers, and structured query language (SQL) statements; and details of text-indexing engines when unstructured data are being handled. The information warehouse is managed in a dynamic way in which different tasks—such as data loading tasks and information warehouse construction tasks—may be interleaved (i.e., there is no particular order in which the different tasks must be completed).
Abstract:
An approach for composing an analytic solution is provided. After associating descriptive schemas with web services and web-based applets, a set of input data sources is enumerated for selection. A desired output type is received. Based on the descriptive schemas that specify required inputs and outputs of the web services and web-based applets, combinations of web services and web-based applets are generated. The generated combinations achieve a result of the desired output type from one of the enumerated input data sources. Each combination is derived from available web services and web-based applets. The combinations include one or more workflows that provide an analytic solution. A workflow whose result satisfies the business objective may be saved. Steps in a workflow may be iteratively refined to generate a workflow whose result satisfies the business objective.
Abstract:
Techniques are described related to modifying an initial reference picture list. The example techniques may identify a reference picture in at least one of the reference picture subsets used to construct the initial reference picture. The example techniques may list the identified reference picture in a current entry of the initial reference picture list to construct a modified reference picture list.
Abstract:
A video coding device may be configured to code a bitstream including multiple views plus depth information. Two of the views may have reduced resolutions, while a third view may have a full resolution. The third view may be predicted relative to upsampled versions of the two reduced-resolution views. Each view may include texture data and depth data, such that a view component may include a texture component and a depth component. Moreover, the texture and depth components may be arranged within an access unit according to a particular order, which may simplify component extraction from the access unit.
Abstract:
A combined treatment process of domestic garbage and sewage, comprising the following steps: {circle around (1)} sorting iron out of the domestic garbage; {circle around (2)} crushing the domestic garbage in which the iron has been removed; {circle around (3)} feeding the crushed domestic garbage into a sewage treatment tank, adding water and blowing air into the sewage treatment tank, where the domestic garbage is divided into floating substances, suspended substances, and settled substances; {circle around (4)} salvaging, dehydrating and drying the floating substances and then combusting them as fuel; {circle around (5)} collecting, filtering and drying the settled substances, wherein the settled substances having a calorific value of more than 4180 kJ/kg are burnt as fuel, the burnt substances and the settled substances having a calorific value of less than 4180 kJ/kg are used to replace clay material in a cement plant or used for making bricks; {circle around (6)} adding a flocculant into the sewage in which the floating substances and the settled substances have been removed so as to make the suspended substances settle, the suspended substances which have been settled are treated according to step {circle around (5)}; and {circle around (7)} treating the sewage. The process of the present invention effectively combines the domestic garbage treatment and sewage treatment, realizing the comprehensive treatment of domestic garbage and sewage as well as efficient utilization of resources.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for estimating virtual machine energy consumption, and in particular, a method and apparatus for estimating virtual machine energy consumption in a computer system. The method includes: obtaining system energy consumption of the system hardware resources; obtaining event information of a plurality of functional units into which the system hardware resources are divided, and mapping the event information to the respective virtual machines; and calculating energy consumption of the virtual machines according to a plurality of energy consumption coefficients corresponding to the plurality of functional units and according to the event information mapped to the functional units of the respective virtual machines.
Abstract:
A video coder performs a padding operation that processes a set of border pixels according to an order. The order starts at a bottom-left border pixel and proceeds through the border pixels sequentially to a top-right border pixel. When the padding operation processes an unavailable border pixel, the padding operation predicts a value of the unavailable border pixel based on a value of a border pixel previously processed by the padding operation. The video coder may generate an intra-predicted video block based on the border pixels.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for identifying device ports of a data card in a Linux system are provided, the method comprises: acquiring information of a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device; recording device information that is related to the USB device to be identified in said information; acquiring port information of each port of said USB device to be identified according to the device information of the said USB device to be identified; identifying attributes of said ports according to the information of each port. By acquiring the device information and the port information, the Attention (AT) port and the Modem port could be identified correctly according to the feature that the AT port and the Modem port could send and receive AT commands as well as the preset order attribute of the AT port and the Modem port, thus identifying the attributes of each port of the device accurately.
