摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may autonomously initiate a handover procedure and select a target base station for the handover procedure. The UE may measure a signal from the source base station or the target base station, or both, and the UE may determine whether specific criteria at both base stations are within a pre-configured range. If the criteria at both base stations are within the pre-configured range, the UE may identify the target base station as a potential candidate for a handover. Accordingly, when the UE determines that radio conditions with the source base station are deteriorating (or fall below a threshold), the UE may initiate a handover to the target base station autonomously and without specific direction from the source base station.

摘要: The disclosure relates to methods, devices, and systems for wireless communications. A wireless communications system may support unicast and broadcast communications for different radio access technologies (RATs). To support the coexistence of different RATs, a user equipment (UE) may report, to a base station, a UE capability message containing a band combination including one or more bands for a first RAT (for example, New Radio (NR)) and one or more bands for a second RAT (for example, Long Term Evolution (LTE)) and an indication of a baseband budget for the second RAT for the band combination. In some implementations, the UE may transmit a broadcast interest indicator to the base station requesting a broadcast service. The base station may configure the UE with a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration based on the UE capabilities, such as the band combination and corresponding baseband budget for the second RAT, and the interest indicator.

A user equipment (UE) may determine to decode or refrain from decoding a transport block (TB) transmitted from a base station based on a decodability condition. The decodability condition may include whether an effective UE throughput for decoding the TB is greater than a predetermined decoding throughput threshold or not. If the effective UE throughput is greater than the predetermined decoding throughput threshold, the UE may refrain from decoding the TB. In some cases, the TB may be a subsequent transmission from the base station based on an initial transmission not being correctly decoded, and the UE may refrain from decoding the subsequent transmission.

In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may monitor a downlink transmission for control information during a set of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions. The UE may determine a first configuration for the set of PDCCH monitoring occasions during a slot of the downlink transmission and a threshold number of PDCCH candidates and/or a threshold number of non-overlapping CCEs within the slot. In some cases, the UE may also determine a threshold number of PDCCH candidates and/or non-overlapping control channel elements (CCEs) within a single PDCCH monitoring occasion. The threshold number of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapping CCEs may be fixed, based on the number of PDCCH monitoring occasions during the slot, based on a processing capability of the UE, or a combination thereof. The UE may decode control information contained in one or more of the PDCCH monitoring occasions.

The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses that support chained sidelink transmissions. A transmitting user equipment (UE) may send, to a receiving UE, sidelink control information (SCI) that reserves resources for transmission from the transmitting UE as well as reserves resources for a response transmission from the receiving UE. The receiving UE may respond with a transmission using the resources that were reserved in the SCI and without sending its own SCI to reserve resources for the response. The latency between the transmitting UE sending the first transmission and receiving a response from the receiving UE may be reduced, because the transmitting UE reserved the resources for itself and the receiving UE with the same SCI.

A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling, such as a downlink control information (DCI), that identifies a transmission configuration state from a set of transmission configuration states, from which the UE may determine a receiver timing. The UE may then receive a downlink transmission, such as a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), from one or more transmission/reception points (TRPs). The UE may use the receiver timing to decode the downlink transmission by performing a fast fourier transform (FFT) with the receiver timing for the downlink transmission.

摘要: Techniques are described herein for selecting network parameters based on feedback in a wireless network. An access point (AP) may collect feedback information from a plurality of stations (STAs). The AP may broadcast out queries seeking information to the STAs. The AP may collect statistics about network parameters preferred by the STAs. The AP may select a network parameter based at least in part on collecting the statistics. The AP may collect the statistics without identifying the individual STAs that are responding. The AP may gather responses using a two-message system, where a first message informs the STAs about the feedback being requested and a second message requests that the STAs transmit the feedback to the AP.

A UE may determine resource amounts for transmitting feedback codebook for two different service types based on satisfaction of a multiplexing condition by overlapping resource schedules. The codebooks may be encoded according to different coding rates to generate encoded feedback codebooks. The encoded codebooks may be mapped to transmission resources according to codebook payload sizes, encoding rates, and available resources and transmitted according to the mapping.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for implementing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) protocol in a wireless local area network (WLAN). In some aspects, a first WLAN device may transmit a first HARQ frame to a second WLAN device. The first WLAN device may receive a first feedback message from the second WLAN device. The first feedback message may be a HARQ Block Acknowledgement (H-BA) message. The first WLAN device may determine to enable the HARQ protocol based on the first feedback message. The first WLAN device may receive an indication of an amount of memory available at the second WLAN device for processing HARQ transmissions. The first WLAN device may transmit a second HARQ frame to the second WLAN device based, at least in part, on the amount of memory available at the second WLAN device for processing HARQ transmissions.

In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may utilize opportunistic cooperative relaying to support exchanging packets between UEs without establishing or maintaining beamforming alignment between the UEs. Specifically, a source UE may invite nearby UEs (e.g., helper UEs) that receive a sidelink transmission (e.g., a packet meant for a different destination UE) to perform a single frequency network (SFN)-type transmission to opportunistically relay the packet to the destination UE. The helper UEs may receive, decode, and transmit the sidelink signaling from the source UE without establishing or configuring a relay agreement with the source UE. The destination UE may receive the sidelink signaling via cascading, SFN-type transmissions by one or more helper UEs. The destination UE may respond to the sidelink signaling with feedback information via one or more helper UEs or directly to the source UE.
