摘要: A sensor unit is supported on a stationary ring which does not rotate even when it is in use, and the rotation of the rotary ring can be detected by a rotation detecting sensor held within the sensor unit. Within the sensor unit, besides the rotation detecting sensor, there are disposed other sensors such as a temperature sensor and a vibration sensor, thereby being able to detect the rotation speed and the rotation number of the wheel supported on the rotary ring, and the other car driving conditions.

摘要: A rotation-speed sensor device is provided to comprise an encoder supported by a rotating race of a rolling bearing unit for vehicle wheel support to be concentric with the rotating race and having a detected portion the characteristics of which are alternately changed in a circumferential direction, a rotation detection sensor supported by a non-rotating member on the vehicle chassis side and having a detecting portion facing the detected portion to produce a detection signal, a wireless transmission device for sending the detection signal from the rotation detection sensor to a controller provided on the vehicle chassis side, and a self-diagnosis circuit to judge whether there is an error or not in the rotation detection sensor.

摘要: A spindle motor comprises a hollow shaft 13 having one end formed with a thrust plate 15, and a sleeve 12 provided to face the shaft 13 through a radial fluid bearing clearance R therebetween, wherein a thrust fluid bearing S is formed between the opposite flat surfaces 15s of the thrust plate 15 and the sleeve 12 facing the flat surfaces 15s. In addition, the hollow shaft 13 has a connection portion 30 at the lower end formed in a concave shape, such that the thrust plate 15 is guided by the inner peripheral surface of the connection portion 30 such that it is coaxial with the shaft 15, and fixed to the shaft 13 by fitting the cylindrical portion 20b of a set screw 20 to the through hole 15b of the thrust plate 15 and the connection portion 30.

摘要: The locus of the displacement of the centers of the balls of a ball bearing is made elliptical and the radial bearing rigidity of the ball bearing in one radial direction is made greater than the radial bearing rigidity in another radial direction orthogonal to the one radial direction, or at least one of the axial length of the portion on the inner diametral surface of the inner race of the ball bearing which is fitted to a shaft and the axial length of the portion on the outer diametral surface of the outer race of the ball bearing which is fitted to a housing is made 1/2 or less of the bearing width of the ball bearing, whereby the radial rigidity of a ball bearing device is made very small as compared with the radial rigidity in the prior art. As a result, the stability of a swing arm system can be enhanced and higher speed and higher accuracy of control become possible.

摘要: A novel hydro-dynamic fluid bearing device is herein disclosed which comprises a cylindrical shaft, a substantially cylindrical bearing member for axially supporting the shaft rotatably in a cylindrical hole having a bottom surface, a supporting member fixed on one side of the shaft and the bearing member, and a rotation member fixed on the other side of the shaft and the bearing member and rotatably supported on the supporting member, grooves for generating hydro-dynamic fluid being formed on at least one of the outer peripheral surface of the shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical hole of the bearing member, wherein the bearing member is made of a resin material, and the outer peripheral surface of the substantially cylindrical portion is fixed to an annular reinforcing member having a higher rigidity than the bearing member.
