Abstract:
A recording/reproducing apparatus for recording encoded data on a recording medium by time sequentially and independently recording normal reproduction data and specific reproduction data contained in the encoded data, the normal reproduction data and specific reproduction data including decode control information. The recording/reproducing apparatus includes a detection circuit for detecting the decode control information from reproduced data in a specific reproduction mode and in a normal reproduction mode, and a memory circuit for storing the control information detected by the detection circuit.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a memory from which a plurality of image signals can be parallelly read out, a read-out circuit for parallelly reading out the plurality of image signals from the memory, a correlation detection circuit for detecting a correlation between the plurality of image signals read out by the read-out circuit, an encoding circuit for encoding the image signals read out by the read-out circuit, and a control circuit for controlling an encoding operation of the encoding circuit in accordance with an output from the correlation detection circuit. The apparatus can simplify the hardware arrangement and allows easy encoding processing.
Abstract:
In a digital video signal recording apparatus of the kind arranged to output a coded signal with its length per picture arranged to be variable by compressing the amount of information of the digital video signal and to record the coded signal while forming many tracks in parallel on a tape-shaped recording medium, a compression ratio is adjusted in such a way as to make the coded signal corresponding to m pictures (m: an integer of 2 or more) have an amount of information recordable in n tracks (n: an integer of 1 or more).
Abstract:
An apparatus for recording video data by forming many tracks on a recording medium and/or for reproducing the video data from the tracks is provided with a memory which is arranged to have recording video data or reproduced video data supplied thereto. The apparatus detects the picture change-over portion of the video data obtained within the tracks and controls, in accordance with the detected position, an offset degree between the writing and reading addresses of the memory.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Installed between a housing and a shaft concentrically disposed with a space having a predetermined radial length therebetween so as to move relative to one another is a sealing device which comprises a ferrofluid seal device comprising a permanent magnet and a pair of pole pieces for supporting the magnet interposed therebetween, so that a ferrofluid is retained between the pole pieces at one end thereof and the shaft and that a radially outer air gap is provided at least one of the pole pieces at the other end thereof and the housing, whereby the magnetic flux path extending between the pole pieces at the other end thereof and the housing is eliminated.
Abstract:
A digital information signal recording apparatus has a first mode in which a digital information signal of one channel is recorded on a recording medium at a given bit rate and a second mode in which digital information signals of n channels (n: an integer which is at least 2) are simultaneously recorded on the recording medium at a bit rate which is 1/n of the given bit rate.
