摘要: An ultrasonic horn used in, for instance, a wire bonding apparatus and formed with mounting flanges, including a slit and a cross-sectional shape varying portion; the slit being on the central axis in the horn's longitudinal direction and extending fore and aft relative to the center of the mounting flanges, the length of the slit(s) being equal to or greater than the width direction of a flange region that is between the opposing flanges, and at least a part of the cross-sectional shape varying portion being on the outer surface of the horn at a slit region in which the slit is formed. The stress center point in the cross-section of the ultrasonic horn at the flange region is positioned more to the inside than a straight line joining the stress center points in the cross-sections of the ultrasonic horn at the front and rear end portions of the slit.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for removing a solvent (41) in an electrolyte membrane (24) as a constituent of a membrane-electrode assembly (12) used in a fuel cell. The membrane-electrode assembly is arranged in a water vapor, and the water vapor is introduced into the electrolyte membrane by being transmitted through diffusion layers (21, 27) respectively on positive/negative electrode sides. The solvent in the electrolyte membrane is removed by the thus-introduced water vapor. This removal of the solvent is performed at temperatures which are not higher than the decomposition temperature of the hydrocarbon solid polymer.

摘要: The method for the production of multilayers comprises: applying a coating solution (I) which comprises a dissolved or dispersed proton-conductive polymer and a solvent (Is) containing water in amounts from 25 to 60 wt % and an organic solvent in amounts from 75 down to 40 wt %, on an electrode, applying a coating solution (II) which comprises a dissolved or dispersed proton-conductive polymer and a solvent (IIs) containing water in amounts from 0 to less than 25 wt % and an organic solvent in amounts above 75 wt %, on the wet first coating without any drying of the first coating; and drying the coatings to form an electrolyte membrane. The methods can provide multilayers capable of satisfactory power generation properties as an electrode structure by forming an electrolyte membrane on an electrode without causing any penetration of electrolyte into the electrode.
