    摘要: An organosilicone-treated silica obtained by treating(A) a silica powder having a specific surface area of at least 50 m.sup.2 /g with(B) a triorgano(1-alkoxyvinyloxy)silane having the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group or an ether linkage-containing organic group, and R.sup.2 are each a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group or an ether linkage-containing organic group. The invention also discloses an organopolysiloxane composition containing the organosilicone-treated silica and a process preparing the composition. The organosilicone-treated silica is of high quality, containing no substance with disagreeable smell or corrosiveness which has been by-produced heretofore. Hence, the composition containing the silica is free from pseudocrosslinking such as structuring or crepe hardening.

    摘要: A process for preparing a fluoroorganopolysiloxane having a fluorine-containing organic group represented by the following formula:F--(--C.sub.g F.sub.2g O--).sub.d --C.sub.h F.sub.2h CH.sub.2 --where d represents an integer of from 1 to 5, g represents an integer of from 1 to 3, and h is 1 or 2, comprising the steps of:polymerizing a monomer comprising a fluorine-containing cyclotrisiloxane having the following formula (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents the above fluorine-containing organic group, R.sup.2 is a fluorine-free hydrocarbon group, and R.sup.3 is a fluorine-free divalent hydrocarbon group, in the presence of an acidic catalyst or a basic catalyst, and in the presence of a water at a temperature of not higher than 80.degree. C., andneutralizing the resulting polymerization product. This process can produce the above polymer containing little low molecular weight compounds and having a desired polymerization degree in a good yield.

    摘要: An oligomer or a mixture of organopolysiloxane oligomers is polymerized in the presence of a strong acid, e.g. trifluoromethane sulfonic acid, as the catalyst to give an organopolysiloxane containing a considerable amount of silanolic hydroxy groups at the molecular chain ends. Thereafter, the mixture is admixed with water and a hexaorganodisilazane or triorganosilyl amine compound in combination so as to neutralize the acid catalyst by the ammonia produced by the hydrolysis of the disilazane or silyl amine compound with simultaneous silylation of the terminal hydroxy groups. Thus, the organopolysiloxane contains a greatly decreased amount of the residual silanolic hydroxy groups at the molecular chain ends to be imparted with remarkably improved heat stability.

    摘要: A solid-state image pickup device includes a plurality of photoelectric conversion units, a plurality of signal read-out circuits, and a test terminal for testing the photoelectric conversion units. Each of the photoelectric conversion units includes a pixel electrode film, an opposing electrode film opposing the pixel electrode film and a light receiving layer disposed between the pixel electrode film and the opposing electrode film. The photoelectric conversion units are arranged in a two-dimensional array above a semiconductor substrate. Each of the signal read-out circuits are configured to read out a signal corresponding to an amount of electrical charges generated in the light receiving layer and transferred to the pixel electrode film. The test terminal is disposed outside of an area where the photoelectric conversion units are disposed, disposed on the same plane as the pixel electrode film, and made of the same material as the pixel electrode film.

    摘要: A chain organopolysiloxane is obtained by polymerizing a fluorine-containing cyclotrisiloxane of the general formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sup.1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, and Rf is a perfluoroalkyl group or perfluoroalkyl ether group)in the presence of a lithium silanolate catalyst, silylating the resulting polymerization product, and treating the silylated product at a temperature of not lower than 100.degree. C. under a reduced pressure of not higher than 10.sup.-1 mmHg to remove volatile components therefrom. The organopolysiloxane is essentially free of volatile low-molecular siloxanes. Therefore, the chain organopolysiloxane can be used without the problems which might arise from the volatile low-molecular siloxanes, such as evaporation of low-molecular siloxanes from a cured rubber product with the result of electrical-contact troubles.
