摘要: A light emitting device and method for making the same is disclosed. The light-emitting device includes an active layer sandwiched between a p-type semiconductor layer and an n-type semiconductor layer. The active layer emits lights when holes from the p-type semiconductor layer combine with electrons from the n-type semiconductor layer therein. The active layer includes a number of sub-layers and has a plurality of pits in which the side surfaces of a plurality of the sub-layers are in contact with the p-type semiconductor material such that holes from the p-type semiconductor material are injected into those sub-layers through the exposed side surfaces without passing through another sub-layer. The pits can be formed by utilizing dislocations in the n-type semiconductor layer and etching the active layer using an etching atmosphere in the same chamber used to deposit the semiconductor layers without removing the partially fabricated device.

摘要: A method, an apparatus and a system for information transmission are provided. The method includes the following steps. A second user equipment receives update information issued by a wireless access point (AP). The second user equipment is located within a coverage area of the wireless AP. After detecting that the second user equipment has the update information, a first user equipment establishes a connection with the second user equipment and obtains the update information from the second user equipment. The first user equipment is located outside the coverage area of the wireless AP. In the present invention, the user equipment can update the information without additionally increasing the transmit powers of the wireless AP and the user equipments when located outside the coverage area of the wireless AP, and thus the interference to other equipments is minimized.

摘要: The present invention provides methods, apparatus and systems for searching hypertext based multilingual Web information when searching on a network for keywords to be queried. A method includes: a receiving step for receiving keywords input by a user; a native language hypertext searching step for searching on the network, according to the keywords to be queried, for all hypertexts whose representing language is the same as a language representing the keywords and which matches the keywords to be queried; extracting hyperlinks related to an arbitrary language from all the searched hypertexts; a hyperlink ranking step for ranking the extracted hyperlinks according to the correlativity of the hyperlinks with the keywords to be queried; and returning to the user ranked search result. Thereby, an accurate cross language searching can be provided without extra machine translation effort, being more accurate and objective than machine translation, even than human translation.

摘要: The present invention relates to the communication field and discloses a method for managing devices in a user network and a user network management entity which handles combining and splitting operations in the user network more efficiently. In the technical solution provided by the present invention, the management entity of the user network obtains the information about the location of the managed PANs and/or stand-alone devices, and, based on the location information, checks existence of any PAN and/or stand-alone device that can be combined or split. If any such device exists, the management entity performs the combining or splitting operation according to the combining or splitting mode preset or selected by the user. In the process of combining or splitting a PAN or stand-alone device, the user can reserve the network registration information of some relevant devices as required, update the network registration information of other devices directly, and switch the service access points to ensure continuity of network services.

摘要: A shoulder supported, hand directed automotive grease gun in which a reciprocating piston transfers fluid from a supply tube to an outlet conduit. A battery powered motor and gear transmission rotate a disc on which is mounted an eccentric pin. The pin forcibly moves a piston holder between low friction parallel guides so as to advance the piston with its transferred fluid toward the outlet conduit. A first spring constantly biases the piston holder toward the pin so that the piston reciprocates rapidly as the disc rotates. An adjustable spring-loaded ball seal unit with an adjustable spring seat controls flow of the fluid. A fluid supply tube heating device alters fluid density to also control fluid flow. An auxiliary shoulder strap relieves pressure on an operator's wrist and transfers backpressure and tool weight to the operators body.
