摘要: A water circulation pump pre-filter unit (PFU). The PFU is submerged and provides structure to camouflage the system to give a natural and aesthetic look. The PFU comprises at least two cleaning systems: (1) biological cleaning mechanism; and (2) an internal self-cleaning mechanism. Specifically, the PFU comprises several filtering surfaces that form a repository for pond debris on which fish and other aquatic creatures feed, i.e., the biological cleaning mechanism. These filtering surfaces of the PFU also provide a protective barrier that prevents large debris from entering the circulation pump. The internal self-cleaning mechanism is a spray wash water source mechanism used to clean the PFU without removing the PFU or fish from the pond or entering the water. Together these features improve the quality of the water in the pond and extend the life of a pump.

摘要: Laundry wash water recycle system comprising a repressurization pump in fluid communication with a storage tank containing previously used wash water for pumping the used wash water sequentially through a lint filter, a cyclone, and a multi-media filter disposed in sequential series wherein the self-cleaning lint filter in sequential series combination with the cyclone removes insoluble solids with the multi-media filter providing a final filtration for obtaining an output of pressurized double filtered cyclonically processed water. An advanced oxidation combination is introduced into pressurized double filtered cyclonically processed water and mixing occurs for producing a double filtered cyclonically processed advanced oxidation treated water that is communicated to a clean water storage tank for providing on demand delivery to at least one washer and continuous delivery of a feedback flow to the inlet storage tank for providing constant recirculation of treated water through the system.

摘要: A method and a device for the continuous purification of a domestic or industrial water stream. After passing through a biological reactor to obtain a sludge of between 4 and 12 g/l of Dry Solids, the method involves feeding a series of chambers separated by restrictions at a flow rate q, injecting air into a second chamber at a flow rate Q>q, in order to obtain an emulsion, injecting a flocculant into a third chamber, and recovering the degassed emulsion in a drain pan. Flocculated and aerated sludge floats on top, such that the remaining liquid centrate has a Dry Solids content less than 100 mg/l and has a positive redox potential>50 mV and a value greater than 100 mV relative to the redox potential of the sludge at the inlet of the chambers, and is reinjected upstream from or into the biological reactor.

摘要: In an embodiment, the present invention provides a method for the biological cleaning of wastewater in an activated-sludge plant including at least one activated-sludge tank, the method including: contacting, in the plant, the wastewater with activated sludge in the activated-sludge tank so as to clean the wastewater; and after the cleaning of the wastewater, separating, in the plant, the suspended activated sludge from the cleaned wastewater by sedimentation in a secondary clarification tank downstream of the activated-sludge tank or in the activated-sludge tank. The activated sludge suspended in the wastewater is admixed with growth bodies in the activated-sludge tank in order to contact the growth bodies with the microorganisms present in the activated sludge and to bring about formation of a biofilm of microorganisms on the growth bodies.

摘要: A simple to operate personal water purification device using membrane type filtration with almost constant pressure exerted to the membrane filter during the operation. The water inlet is connected to the high pressure chamber via a non-return valve. The water from the chamber is injected via the piston into the already pressurized circuit which maintenance filter working pressure. A pressurized circuit is formed in the concentrate cylinder and the filtration unit. The fluid circulation within the pressurized circuit is enabled via motion of a circulation piston. The permeate outlet produces potable water while the remaining concentrate is returned to the return chamber. The circulation piston and high pressure piston are connected via piston coupling and operated, preferably, by hand activating reciprocal motion of the piston rod. The membrane type filtration can be a ultra-filtration membrane, a nano-filtration membrane or a reverse osmosis membrane.

摘要: A desalination system includes a vertical column with a lower end submerged into a body of liquid to be treated. The column has a dark-colored outer surface able to absorb electromagnetic energy, and at least one vacuum compressor is connected to provide a vacuum pressure in the vertical column such that the liquid is drawn into the vertical column through openings in the vertical column. A condensing dome has a main shell and that receives vapor of the liquid in the vertical column via a vapor port joining the vertical column and the condensing dome. A wind-driven outer turbine surrounds the main shell of the condensing dome and draws outside air into a space around the main shell of the condensing dome. A tank is connected to the condensing dome via a pipe and receives desalinated liquid from the condensing dome.

摘要: A screen decanter for decanting liquid from a reservoir, comprising at least one rack comprising screens and baffles forming the sides of a cavity; a frame attached to the screens and baffles and providing a barrier so that liquid cannot pass from outside into the cavity without passing through the screens; a patterned perforated drain pipe inside the cavity and leading to an opening through which liquids may drain out from the cavity. The pattern of the openings counteracts the hydrostatic head within the rack such that flow through the screens is uniform at all depths of immersion in the liquid reservoir. Preferably, the screens have a porosity of about 50 micrometers.
