    摘要: An actuator (1), in particular for operation of fuel injectors in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, has in this embodiment a plurality of layers (2) of a piezoelectric or magnetostrictive material arranged in a stack. The actuator (1) is prestressed by a tie rod (6) arranged in a central recess (5) by way of opposing threads (7 and 8). Securing the device and the transfer of force are accomplished by a cover plate (3) and a bottom plate (4). The prestress can also be created by a sheathing (9) surrounding the actuator (1), which transfers an axial force component onto the layers (2) via the cover plate (3) and the bottom plate (4) by flanging of projecting ends (10).

    摘要: A method of metering fuel with a fuel injector, in particular a fuel injector for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines is described, having a piezoelectric or magnetostrictive actuator and a valve closing body which is operable by the actuator with a valve lift, cooperating with a valve seat face provided on a valve seat body to form a sealing seat. The valve lift may be adjusted variably as a function of a variable control signal triggering an actuator to produce a variable fuel flow at the sealing seat. To produce afitted curve, the fuel flow of the fuel jet sprayed by the fuel injector is measured as a function of the control signal to produce a fitted curve, and a predetermined fuel flow is set with the control signal by using the fitted curve.

The seal has a sealing member and a sealing element. The sealing element is joined to the sealing member by a first circumferential welded seam, is elastically deformable and band-shaped, and is joined to the valve housing by a second circumferential welded seam.

    摘要: This invention is for holding components made of a ferromagnetic material parallel to a component axis for electroplating the component. The component substrate according to the invention has at least two magnet poles, oriented toward the components and having opposite polarity. The magnet field lines extend from one magnet pole to the other magnet pole through the components only in the vicinity of a contact faces of the components oriented toward the magnet poles. This prevents ferromagnetic particles from depositing on the ends of the components remote from the contact faces. The apparatus according to the invention is especially suitable for holding a plurality of components during electrolytic surface coating of the components.

The fuel injector includes a solenoid, an armature, which is acted upon in a closing direction by a restoring spring, and a valve needle, which is linked in a force-locking manner to the armature, for actuating of a valve-closure member, which together with a valve-seat surface forms a sealing seat. The armature includes a first armature part and a second armature part, the restoring spring is supported on the first armature part and the second armature part is linked in a force-locked manner to the valve needle. The valve needle is acted upon in the closing direction by the restoring spring via the first armature part and the second armature part so that the valve-closure member is held in a sealing position on the valve-seat surface.
