    摘要: A tool holder includes a holder body which in turn includes a shank portion, a flange portion, and a tool attachment portion; a taper cone fitted to the shank portion; an elastic member interposed between a rear-end face of the flange portion and a front-end face of the taper cone; and a stopper member disposed on the shank portion so as to support a rear-end face of the taper cone. The outer surface of the taper cone is tapered at an angle equal to that at which the wall surface of a taper hole formed in a spindle of a machine tool is tapered. The inner surface of the taper cone and the outer surface of the shank portion are equally tapered at an angle smaller than the angle at which the outer surface of the taper cone is tapered. Through drawing of the holder body, the taper cone expands radially to thereby be tightly held within the taper hole. A spacer is bonded to the end face of the spindle so as to eliminate a gap which is formed between the flange portion and a spindle.

    摘要: A data processing apparatus with software protecting functions capable of enhancing the level of encryption security independently of the memory management method of the system comprising the apparatus. Upon receiving target data to be encrypted, an encryption key generation unit generates an encryption key in accordance with an attribute of the target data. Using the encryption key, an encryption unit encrypts the target data. The encrypted data is placed into a storage unit. When a request is made to process the encrypted data, a decryption key generation unit generates a decryption key in accordance with the attribute of the encrypted data. A decryption unit decrypts the encrypted data using the decryption key. The decrypted data is processed by a processing unit. A control unit supplies the encryption unit with the data processed by the processing unit as data to be encrypted.

    摘要: A sensor that can rapidly and accurately detect a side collision of a vehicle. The sensor includes a fixed member in a vehicle door and a movable member that has an impact receiving part. The impact receiving part has a high rigidity outside of the fixed member. The impact receiving part also has energy absorbing parts with lower rigidity and a detection part arranged opposite to the movable member at a predetermined interval above the fixed member. When the impact receiving part receives an impact exceeding a predetermined valve, the energy absorption parts are deformed so as to move the movable member. This movement is then detected by the detection part.

    摘要: A retractable safety belt system for restraining a vehicle occupant in a seat comprising a seat belt secured at one end to a reel of an electric-motor driven retractor. The retractor motor is controlled by control means (9) having a drive circuit (92G) and a reverse rotation or protraction rotation detection circuit (94A) which senses the reverse rotation of the motor as the seat belt is protracted and energizes the motor to retract the seat belt, thereby removing any slack in the seat belt. Preferably, the control means includes an increasing voltage circuit (94C) for gradually increasing the voltage applied to the motor, thereby reducing the motor torque at the initial stage of retraction. Also, the control means preferably includes a load sensing circuit (94B) which de-energizes the motor as the load on the motor and, hence, the tension in the seat belt reaches a predetermined level.

Wedge guide grooves are formed on the inner circumferential surface of the ring portion.
