Abstract: A brake system for a vehicle has at least two hydraulic brake circuits, each with at least one hydraulically acting wheel brake, and a switching valve on each hydraulically acting wheel brake, which switching valve connects in each case one hydraulically acting wheel brake to one of the two brake circuits. The brake system also has a central outlet switching valve which brings about a switchable hydraulic connection between at least one of the brake circuits and a reservoir vessel, wherein the reduction in pressure in the at least one hydraulically acting wheel brake is effected by opening the central outlet switching valve and the associated switching valve.

Abstract: A brake device for a motor vehicle with two axles in which at least one axle has an electric traction motor for driving and braking at least one wheel arranged on an axle, and in which energy can be recovered by means of the traction motor during braking, each wheel having a wheel brake. The brake device includes a pressure supply having an electric motor-driven pump in the form of a piston-cylinder unit or a rotary pump, which can both build up pressure and reduce pressure, and which is part of a pressure supply device. An open-loop and closed-loop control device controls the traction motor and components of the pressure supply device such that a braking deceleration can be set by closed-loop control individually for each brake circuit, each axle or wheel brakes of an axle, with different braking torques at the respective axles or wheel brakes of an axle.

Abstract: Apparatus for generating braking force in a vehicle brake system has at least two pressure supply devices and first and second hydraulic brake circuits, each having at least one or two hydraulic wheel brakes. Pressure in at least one brake circuit can be both built up and released by the pressure supply devices, which include a piston pump or gear pump driven by an electric motor drive and deliver continuous volume. At least one valve arrangement may adjust wheel brake pressures individually and/or disconnect/connect the wheel brakes from/to a brake circuit and/or a pressure supply device. At least one electronic control unit enables open-loop and closed-loop control. Pressure increase is enabled in one or both brake circuits, independently or in combination, using first and/or second pressure supply devices that produce changes in pressure simultaneously or temporally offset or overlapping.

Abstract: A hydraulic system includes at least two hydraulic circuits with hydraulic circuit lines and at least one hydraulic component connected to each hydraulic circuit or to a hydraulic circuit line thereof via a respective switch valve used for pressure build-up and release. At least one pressure supply device can build up pressure in both hydraulic circuits. At least one circuit separating valve blocks or releases a hydraulic connection line connecting the two hydraulic circuits. At least one outlet valve selectively connects an accumulator container to at least one hydraulic circuit. A hydraulic connection between a pump of the pressure supply device and a respective hydraulic circuit connects a return flow from the hydraulic circuit into the pressure supply device or its pump. A controlled feed valve or a non-return valve controls the hydraulic connection. A pressure supply device or outlet valve releases pressure in at least one hydraulic component.

Abstract: An actuating device for an entirely or partially hydraulic vehicle braking system includes a master brake cylinder with a piston and a working chamber hydraulically connectable to a reservoir, a pedal feel simulator, and, via at least one normally open valve, at least one brake circuit. A pressure supply unit has a motor-driven piston and a cylinder. At least one valve assembly includes wheel-specific solenoid pressure control valves. At least one electrical control unit controls valves of the valve assembly and the motor of the pressure supply unit. Outlet valves enable discharge of hydraulic medium from wheel brakes or brake circuits into the reservoir. One housing contains the valve assembly and hydraulic component of the pressure supply unit, and a separate housing contains the master brake cylinder.

Alternatively, one or both working spaces may be in communication with a reservoir for hydraulic medium via a hydraulic line, with a switching valve in one or both hydraulic lines, and/or a respective outlet valve may be associated with one or more hydraulic chambers of the consumer, and a further connecting line having a switching valve may connect the pressure chambers and/or hydraulic lines.
