    摘要： A composition which is curable to an elastomer comprising:A polymer or mixture of polymers of the formula ##STR1## wherein: X are monovalent moieties having ethylenic unsaturation which can be the same or different;Y are divalent linking groups which can be the same or different;m is an integer of 0 to 1;D are monovalent moieties which can be the same or different selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl group of 1 to about 10 carbon atoms, aryl, and substituted aryl;R are divalent hydrocarbon groups which can be the same or different;R.sup.1 are monovalent moieties which can be the same or different selected from the group consisting of alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, and substituted aryl;R.sup.2 are monovalent moieties which can be the same or different selected from the group consisting of alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, and substituted aryl;R.sup.3 are monovalent moieties which can be the same or different selected from the group consisting of alkyl, substituted alkyl, vinyl, aryl, and substituted aryl;R.sup.4 are monovalent moieties which can be the same or different selenited from the group consisting of alkyl, substituted alkyl, vinyl, aryl, and substituted aryl; andn is an integer of about 270 to about 1000.A composition which is curable to a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising the above polymer and a sufficient amount of tackifier. The invention also relates to fluorosilane compounds useful in the preparation of silicone macromonomer, their preparation and the preparation of silicone macromonomer.

    摘要： A reflector laminate, and backlights and displays incorporating such reflector laminates are disclosed. The reflector laminate includes a substrate and a reflector that are adhered together by a plurality of adhesive protrusions. The adhesive protrusions provide for a plurality of voids between the reflector and the substrate, so that a free reflector surface is adjacent to an air gap between the reflector and substrate. The reflector can include a multilayer interference reflector, and the presence of the air gap ensures high reflectivity for the laminate. The reflector can be adhered to a solid lightguide, a frame enclosing a portion of a backlight, a frame enclosing a hollow lightguide cavity, or an optical sheet positioned at the output surface of a backlight.

    摘要： A mixture is provided comprising (a) at least one of an elastomeric thermoplastic, a non-elastomeric thermoplastic, an elastomeric thermoset and mixtures thereof, excluding polydiorganosiloxane fluids and (b) a polymer having soft polydiorganosiloxane units, hard polyisocyanate residue units, optionally, soft and/or hard organic polyamine residue units and terminal groups. The hard polyisocyanate residue and the hard polyamine residue comprise less than 50% by weight of the polydiorganosiloxane urea containing component. The polyisocyanate residue is the polyisocyanate minus the —NCO groups and the polyamine residue is the polyamine minus the —NH2 groups. The polyisocyanate residue is connected to the polyamine residue by urea linkages. The terminal groups are non-functional groups or functional groups. The polydiorganosiloxane urea containing component may be reactive under free-radical or moisture curing conditions. The mixture may also optionally contain tackifying materials, free radical initiators, crosslinking agents, cure catalysts, and nonreactive additives such as fillers, pigments, stabilizers, antioxidants, flame retardants, plasticizers, compatibilizers and the like.

    摘要： Melt-processable polydiorganosiloxane polyurea segmented copolymer compositions are provided. The compositions comprise alternating soft polydiorganosiloxane units and hard diisocyanate residue units, the diisocyanate residue being the diisocyanate minus the —NCO groups, the units being connected together by urea linkages which also provide hard units. The compositions are prepared by continuously providing at least one diisocyanate and at least one polydiorganosiloxane diamine to a reactor, mixing the diisocyanate and the polydiorganosiloxane diamine in the reactor under substantially solvent-free conditions, allowing the diisocyanate and polydiorganosiloxane diamine to react to form a polydiorganosiloxane polyurea copolymer, and conveying the copolymer from the reactor.
