摘要: An adjustable height seat for a wheelchair has a seat supported on a telescoping support. The seat rises and lowers in response to repositioning of the user's body weight on the seat. A spring normally urges the seat towards an elevated condition. The seat is depressed when the user's body assumes a relatively reclined position to overcome upward urging of the spring. Conversely, the seat rises when the user's body weight is partially rested on a ground surface allowing the spring to lift the seated user's remaining body weight. The telescoping support is frictionally arrested in a generally upright or forward leaning position of the seated user. The adjustable height seat can be installed in a wheelchair frame either permanently or interchangeably with a conventional wheelchair seat.

摘要: A gearbox assembly includes a housing which contains a differential gear set and a two-speed reduction gear set. A spider drives differential pinion gears nested between outer pinion gears. A first and a second clutch that can be engaged “on the fly” achieve the two-speed functionality of the gearbox assembly. Another gearbox assembly includes an on-demand locking differential with a differential clutch located between differential axle side gears to selectively lock the differential axle side gears together and thereby lock the axle shafts.

摘要: A dynamic gain cell memory cell capable of storing multiple values is described herein. In one example, a memory cell may include an input, such as a first transistor. The memory cell may further include a capacitive element coupled to the input, where the capacitive element stores one or more values corresponding to one of multiple voltage levels. A sense transistor configured to operate in source-follower mode may be coupled to the capacitive element, where the charge on the capacitive element controls operation of the sense transistor, such as through a gate of the sense transistor. The memory cell may further include an output connected to the drain of the sense transistor, where current flows through the transistor when the output is activated to access the one or more values stored in capacitive element.

摘要: Systems and methods are described herein for electron-beam lithography. In some aspects, a photo electron emitter and channel array assembly (PEECAA) may include a photo-electron emitting cathode having a uniform planar surface and an array of beam channels proximate to the cathode. In some cases, at least one of the cathode or the array of beam channels is removable from the PEECAA. The array of beam channels may include a grid of apertures, a plurality of beam channels, and a shared lens array including a plurality of lenses proximate to an exit of the plurality of beam channels. Individual apertures of the grid of apertures align with individual beam channels to allow electrons from the cathode to pass through the array of beam channels and the shared lens array to form a pixelated pattern, such that, upon exposure to the target, the pixelated pattern is permanently formed on the target.

摘要: Memory systems and techniques for efficiently storing data are described herein. A memory system may include a memory string of multiple dynamic memory cells, with each cell having an access transistor connecting a data-input-line to a capacitive element, an output transistor connected to the capacitive element, with the output transistors of the multiple cells having channels connected in series forming a stacked-gate transistor, and a read-select-line connected to the capacitive element, where a change in voltage on the read-select line controls voltage on the capacitive element. The memory system also includes a read-string-select-line connecting in series the channels of the output transistors of the cells, and a data-output-line connected to the stacked-gate transistor, such that to access data stored in the cells, the read-select-line of the cells is set to a neutral level to cause the output of the output transistor of the cells to be detectable on the data-output-line.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for using a hybrid-distribution system to identify relevant documents based on a search query. A group of documents is assigned to a particular segment. The group of documents is indexed both by atom and by document to form a reverse index and a forward index. Both indexes are divided amongst each node in that segment so that each node is responsible for storing and accessing a different portion of both the reverse and forward indexes. The reverse index portion is accessed on each of a first set of nodes to identify a first set of documents that is relevant to a particular search query. Document identifications associated with the first set of documents are used to identify a second set of nodes that access their forward index portions to limit the number of relevant documents to a second set of documents.

摘要: The utilization of a specific load transfer device for the purpose of allowing for reliable connection and adhesion of composite wood boards during edifice manufacture therewith is provided. Such a device is configured for containment within slots cut into the peripheral edges of such wood boards and cut into a shape therein that is complementary to that of the device itself. In such a manner, the device, when introduced within the properly shaped slot, permits separation of adjacent wood boards that are sequentially applied to the frame of the target edifice, as well as, ultimately, sufficient load bearing strength for the overall construction (such as a roof) within which such connected wood boards are utilized. The separation of wood boards thus permits proper sealing therebetween (with tape, sealant, or other like material) as well as proper distance for shrinking or swelling (due to moisture/temperature variations) to be taken into account during the lifetime of the edification (thereby permitting expansion as needed). The ability to impart increased load bearing strength thus allows for an increase in construction materials (in number and in weight) to be carried and kept on such a structure during construction as well. The method of manufacture of an edifice utilizing such load transfer devices between wood boards is also encompassed within this invention.
