The inventive apparatus includes an image capturing unit 10 for capturing an image of an object to be monitored, an inversion condition determining unit 11 for determining whether an inversion condition is satisfied or not based on the visibility of the image captured by the image capturing unit 10, and a display image generating unit 12 for generating a negative/positive inverted image from the captured image when it is determined by the inversion condition determining unit 11 that the inversion condition is satisfied.

摘要: A surroundings monitoring device for a vehicle, includes a pair of side cameras, each of which is provided at a side mirror, obtaining capture images capturing views extending to left and right of the vehicle including views below the side mirrors, respectively, an image graphic generating portion generating an image graphic of the vehicle from a view point above a rear portion thereof towards a front lower portion thereof, or from a view point above a front portion of the vehicle towards a rear lower portion thereof in order to include at least a portion of the vehicle and the side mirrors on the image graphic, and a side image generating portion generating left and right side images on the basis of the capture images so as to correspond to images shown at left and right portions of the image graphic displayed on a monitor, respectively.

摘要: A surrounding recognition support system includes a distance marker display section displaying a distance marker on a monitor for a user to identify the distance marker, which indicates a distance from the user to a predetermined area and allows the user to visually sense the distance when the user looks at the monitor, and a sound output section emitting a special sound corresponding to the distance indicated by the distance marker when the distance marker is displayed on the monitor by the distance marker display section. The sound output section emits the special sound in response to a result of detection of an object detection portion detecting the object existing around the user within the predetermined area defined by the distance indicated by the distance marker.

摘要: Provided is a driving support device that allows a driver to confirm the travelling routes of the wheels of a vehicle from an image indicating the circumference of the vehicle.The driving support device includes: an imaging unit which takes a travelling direction image by shooting in the travelling direction of a vehicle; a steering angle detection unit which detects the steering angle of the vehicle; a route image generation unit which predicts travelling routes of wheels provided on the travelling direction side of the vehicle, and generates a route image that indicates the travelling routes of the wheels as seen from the viewpoint of the imaging unit; a superimposed image generation unit which generates a superimposed image by superimposing the route image on the travelling direction image; and an image display unit which displays the superimposed image.

摘要: A parking assist device includes a monitor (10) for displaying a captured image from a camera (12), assist information output means for providing assistance during introduction of a vehicle into a parking position, and correction control means (31) for correcting an inappropriate operation performed when the vehicle is introduced into the parking position. When a steering operation, an accelerator operation, or a brake operation is inappropriate, the correction control means (31) performs control to correct the travel course and the stop position. Thus, even if the driver performs an inappropriate operation when introducing the vehicle into the parking position, the driver can appropriately introduce the vehicle into the parking position according to the display on the monitor (10).

摘要: In a coating film transfer tool, a tape supply core rotation limiter predetermines the amount of coating film laid down on a receiving surface, to enable erasure of small areas. The permitted rotation of the supply core can be selected from a group of different choices by the use of an adjusting member, releasably engageable with the teeth of a toothed wheel rotatable with the supply core, and movable with the wheel when engaged therewith until engaged with a stop. A spring pawl, engageable with the teeth of the wheel, prevents reverse rotation of the supply core. The adjusting member can be disabled by holding it out of engagement with the toothed wheel, so that the instrument can be used as a conventional coating film transfer tool.

Not only it is possible to downsize the boot, but also it is possible to inhibit abnormal noises from generating when water intervenes in-between.
