    摘要: This invention provides certain crystallized, protein kinase-ligand complexes, in particular P38-ligand complexes, and their structure coordinates. The structure coordinates are based on the structure of a phosphorylated P38&ggr; complex which has now been solved and which reveals new structural information useful for understanding the activated states of other, related kinase proteins as described herein. The key structural features of the proteins, particularly the shape of the substrate binding site, are useful in methods for designing or identifying selective inhibitors of the protein kinases, particularly P38&ggr; and in solving the structures of other proteins with similar features. The structure coordinates may be encoded in a data storage medium for use with a computer for graphical three-dimensional representation of the structure and for computer-aided molecular design of new inhibitors.

    摘要: A bolt-on replacement intake manifold has an asymmetrical plenum with a first end including an inlet, a closed terminal end, a concave top surface and a convex bottom surface; a flange; and a plurality of runners extending from the bottom surface of the plenum and terminating at the flange. The plenum defines an interior space in flow communication with the runners. The bottom surface of the plenum is wider than the top surface. The plenum initially widens from the inlet to the first runner and then begins to narrow from the first runner toward the last runner adjacent to the closed terminal end. The runners are tapered, curved, and vary in length. The intake manifold causes air to exit each of the plurality of runners at substantially the same angle. The manifold balances airflow across each runner and increases swirl inside the cylinders enhancing fuel economy, power output, and torque.

Such reference numbers may include employee numbers, social security numbers, customer account numbers, and the like. The method/system takes advantage of the way decimal numbers are stored by computers to allow text to be used in numeric reference numbers. In one implementation, letters A-Z are used for the leftmost position, increasing the domain count of reference numbers from 10 to 36 for that position. A reference number expansion utility is then used to convert the additional reference numbers to and from the existing data storage format.
