    摘要: During a period until a subject vehicle stops to go back for being parked, detection distance data items and advance distance data items are obtained by using an ultrasonic sensor and a speed sensor. These data items are stored with both the data items mutually associated. The detection distance data item indicates a distance to a parked vehicle adjacent to the subject vehicle and the advance distance data item indicates a distance in which the subject vehicle advances. When computing a size of the parked vehicle from the advance distance data items, the size of the parked vehicle is determined to be shorter than an aggregated distance corresponding to the advance distance data items. This enables the determined size of the parked vehicle to approximate an actual size of the parked vehicle.

    摘要: A projection-type display device includes: a light source 21; a spatial light modulation element 25 which modulates incident light according to an applied image signal and emits the modulated light; an illumination optical system 23 which condenses light from the light source 21 and illuminates the spatial light modulation element 25; a projection lens 27 which projects the light emitted from the spatial light modulation element 25; shielding unit 1, positioned along the path of light on the side of either the illumination optical system 23 or the projection lens 27 with respect to the spatial light modulation element 25, and which can change the amount of shielding of transmitted light; and image signal correction units 3, 4, 5, and 6 which divide the picture plane of the spatial light modulation element 25 into a plurality of areas, and perform correction on the image signal applied to the spatial light modulation element 25 according to the current shielding amount of the shielding unit 1 for each of the plurality of areas. Accordingly, appropriate uniformity correction is performed even when there is a change in the angular distribution of light emitted from the spatial light modulation element and reaching the screen.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling the amount of delivery in a wrapping material feed system, including a rotation drive means for rotating a bobbin with a wrapping material wound thereon; a winding diameter detecting means for detecting a winding diameter of the wrapping material; an adjusting means for changing torque and brake forces of the bobbin to adjust the amount of delivery of the wrapping material, and a control means for controlling the adjusting means. The control means has a memory section which stores optimum torque and brake forces for winding diameters of the wrapping material as well as increment and decrement patterns of torque and brake forces for various operation modes of the wrapping material feed system, and upon receipt of a signal from the winding diameter detecting means the control means provides a signal to the adjusting means in accordance with the contents of the memory section.

    摘要: A heater, which comprises an element whose resistance varies with changes in temperature, and a temperature element are provided in the air intake pipe of an engine. This heater and temperature element together with resistors form a bridge circuit to which heating power is supplied via a transistor. An engine control unit generates start signals Tin simultaneously with the rotation of the engine. A flip-flop circuit is set by these start signals and, when set, the transistor is turned on and the heating power rises. The output signal from the bridge circuit is supplied to a comparator and the output signal of the comparator resets the flip-flop circuit, which outputs a pulse-shaped signal representing the airflow quantity as a length of time. This pulse-shaped time signal is sent via a constant current circuit to another comparator, where it is compared with a reference voltage and the output signal from the comparator is supplied together with the above time signal to an exclusive OR circuit. This exclusive OR circuit outputs a first and second pulse signal as the measurement output signal Tout synchronously with the rise and fall of the time signal and this signal is supplied to the engine control unit.
