Abstract: A wireless hoist system including a first hoist device having a first motor and a first wireless transceiver and a second hoist device having a second motor and a second wireless transceiver. The wireless hoist system includes a controller in wireless communication with the first wireless transceiver and the second wireless. The controller is configured to receive a user input and determine a first operation parameter and a second operation parameter based on the user input. The controller is also configured to provide, wirelessly, a first control signal indicative of the first operation parameter to the first hoist device and provide, wirelessly, a second control signal indicative of the second operation parameter to the second hoist device. The first hoist device operates based on the first control signal and the second hoist device operates based on the second control signal.

Abstract: A magnetic drill press includes a housing, a magnetic base coupled to the housing for engagement with a workpiece, and a motor carriage slidably coupled to the base housing. The magnetic drill press further includes an electric motor supported by the motor carriage and configured to rotate a bit about a bit axis, and a spindle assembly supported by the housing and coupled to the motor carriage for selectively positioning the motor carriage relative to the housing. The magnetic drill press further includes a handle hub coupled to the spindle assembly, and a ratchet assembly including a ratchet head coupled to the handle hub and a ratchet handle coupled to the ratchet head for actuating the spindle assembly by reciprocating motion of the ratchet handle.

Abstract: A power tool having a housing, a motor, a tool holder driven about an output axis by the motor, and an output element for performing an operation on a workpiece. The tool holder has a locating feature including a tapered portion becoming narrower in a direction away from the surface of the tool holder. The output element has an aperture for receiving the locating feature and a face facing the surface of the tool holder when the locating feature is received. The power tool also includes a flange for transferring a clamping force for urging the output element towards the tool holder and a tab projecting from the flange for finger tightening the flange. A biasing member provides the clamping force toollessly. A gap is defined between the surface of the tool holder and the face when the tapered portion of the locating feature is fully received in the aperture.

Abstract: A vehicle battery jump starter that is powered by a removable and rechargeable battery pack, such as a battery pack used with various hand-held power tools. The battery pack removably connects to a vehicle battery jump starter and can be selectively used to charge a power boost module within the vehicle battery jump starter. The power boost module includes, for example, a plurality of supercapacitors or lithium polymer battery cells. Abstract: A stand-alone motor unit for use with a piece of power equipment includes a housing and a flange coupled to the housing on a first side thereof. A plurality of apertures through the flange defines a first bolt pattern that matches an identical, second bolt pattern defined in the piece of power equipment. An electric motor has a power output of at least about 2760 W. The motor includes a stator having a nominal outer diameter of up to about 80 mm and a rotor supported for rotation within the stator. A power take-off shaft receives torque from the rotor and protrudes from one of the flange or a second side of the housing. A controller is positioned within the housing and electrically connected to the motor. A battery pack for powering the motor has battery cells having a nominal voltage of up to about 80 V.
