    摘要: A tamper resistant limit cap for a carburetor having manual adjust valves that are able to adjust the effective area of the main fuel passage and the slow speed fuel passage. The cap covers tightly on the head part of the main fuel adjust valve and includes a flange attached to the outside of the cap that abuts a stop upon rotation of the cap, a guide flange attached to the outside of the cap to locate, upon installation, the final position of the cap, and two projections on the inside of cap to prevent removal of the cap from valve head part or independent rotation of the cap and head part relative to each other.

    摘要: A magnetic read sensor having improved robustness to withstand thermal variations resulting from thermal fly height heating. Improved thermal robustness comes as a result of improved pinned layer pinning. The read head includes an AFM layer having an increased thickness to provide a higher blocking temperature. The read head further includes a pinned layer structure that includes a first magnetic layer adjacent to and exchange coupled with the AFM layer. The first layer comprises a Co—Fe layer with an increased Fe content of 20-30 atomic percent. The pinned layer structure also includes a second magnetic layer that is antiparallel coupled with the AP1 layer. The AP2 layer can be a multi-layer structure that includes a layer of CoFe, a layer of Co—Fe—Hf formed on the layer of Co—Fe, a layer of Co—Fe—B formed on the layer of Co—Fe—Hf, and a second layer of Co—Fe formed on the layer of Co—Fe—B.

    摘要: A carburetor having a choke valve has an open-close valve sliding reciprocatingly inside a valve hole partway along a bypass air passage. The open-close valve, pressed by urging member, slides according to a rotation angle of a choke valve shaft while a distal end side continuously contacts a side face of the shaft. A projecting part, urged by a coil spring, projects from a distal end of a body. The urging member includes a temperature-sensitive material that expands at or above a prescribed temperature. When the choke valve is closed and the ambient temperature is less than the prescribed temperature, the bypass air passage enters a closed state while the body remains in a closed-valve position; and when the ambient temperature is at or above the prescribed temperature, the urging member elongates and the body enters an open-valve position, and the bypass air passage enters an open state.

    摘要: To enable a carburetor having a manual choke valve to be provided with a gas mixture of adequate concentration in accordance with the atmospheric temperature when an engine starts up and when the engine runs continuously right after starting up, there is provided an open-close valve 40 that slides reciprocatingly inside a valve hole 4 provided partway along a bypass air passage 5 for bypassing a choke valve 3 so that the bypass air passage 5 is opened and closed. The open-close valve is pressed by urging means and slides in accordance with an angle of rotation of a choke valve shaft 30 while a distal end side is in continuous contact with a side face of the choke valve shaft 30; a projecting part 42 that projects from and recedes into a distal end of a body 41 is urged by a coil spring 42b so that a distal end face is pressed to the side face of the choke valve shaft 30. The urging means comprises a temperature-sensitive material that expands in the direction of sliding at a prescribed temperature or higher. When the choke valve 3 is closed and in the case when the ambient temperature is less than the set temperature, the bypass air passage 5 is put into a closed state while the body 41 is kept in a closed-valve position; and when the choke valve 3 is closed when the ambient temperature is at or above the prescribed temperature, the urging means elongates and the body 41 is put into an open-valve position, and the bypass air passage 5 is put into an open state.

    摘要: Test methods and components are disclosed for testing the quality of the ground connection fabrication process for ESD shunt resistors in magnetic heads. A wafer is populated with one or more test components along with magnetic heads. The test components are fabricated with ESD shunt resistor ground connections created by the same or similar process used to fabricate the ESD shunt resistor ground connections in magnetic heads on the wafer. The resistance of the test component ground connections may then be measured in order to determine the quality of the ground connections formed by the fabrication process. The quality of the ground connection fabrication process may then be determined based on the measured resistance of the test components.
