摘要: A driving device includes an electromagnetic actuator indicating a first coil and a second coil which detects a change in magnetic flux generated by the first coil, and an electromagnetic actuator controller which feedback-controls the electromagnetic actuator. The electromagnetic actuator controller includes a modulator which gives a modulated signal, which is generated based on a target value in the feedback control, to the first coil, and a demodulator which demodulates an output signal from the second coil, and in which the target value is a target thrust of the electromagnetic actuator. The electromagnetic actuator controller includes a scale converter which performs a square-root arithmetic operation for the target value to feedback-control the electromagnetic actuator based on an output signal from the scale converter and a signal demodulated by the demodulator.

摘要: A printing apparatus is capable of forming images by overlappingly performing print processes for a plurality of colors with non-aqueous inks and an aqueous ink. When printing with the aqueous ink, it is possible to inhibit paper from being deformed and to realize a high density print process with a low see-through density. At least one of the plurality of colors is printed with a non-aqueous ink containing a water-insoluble solvent, and the remaining colors is printed with an aqueous ink containing a water-soluble solvent. The print process of the non-aqueous ink is performed in advance of the print process of the aqueous ink.

摘要: A stream data recording apparatus records stream data in such a manner that the head of each video coding unit and the head of a series of audio coding unit corresponding to each video coding unit contained in the stream data coincide with the heads of access units of a recording medium. Utilizing the structure of stream data so recorded and the random accessibility of the recording medium, a stream data replaying apparatus and a stream data editing apparatus replay or edit the stream data freely on a video coding unit basis. By replacing stream data recorded on the recording medium on a video coding unit basis, the recording apparatus realizes endless recording that does not require complex file manipulation.

摘要: An exposure apparatus including a barometer for detecting air pressure, a lens driving unit for driving a lens of a projection optical system, a light-source-wavelength changing unit for changing a wavelength of an exposure light source, and a stage driving unit for driving a wafer stage in an optical-axis direction. The apparatus can correct an aberration caused by a change in air pressure by utilizing the lens driving unit, the light-source-wavelength changing unit, and the stage driving unit. During a shot of an exposure of the exposure apparatus, the lens driving unit and/or the stage driving unit are employed to correct the aberration. In the non-exposure state (shot interval), the light-source-wavelength changing unit and/or the lens driving unit as well as the stage driving unit are employed to correct the aberration.

摘要: An information storage device stores data evenly in each of a plurality of external information-storage devices even if the number of external information-storage devices provided in the information storage system is changed. A division processing unit divides the information to be stored in the information storage devices and distributes the divided information to the information storage devices. A division control unit controls the division processing unit so as to divide the information in accordance with a number of the information storage devices. When the number of the information storage devices is changed, the division control unit controls the division processing unit so that the information stored in the information storage devices is divided by a dividing method suitable for the number of the information storage devices after being changed.

摘要: A heat-sensitive stencil master making apparatus for making a stencil master by imagewise perforating thermoplastic film of heat-sensitive stencil master material according to an image on an original includes a thermal head which has an array of a plurality of heater elements and is brought into thermal contact with the thermoplastic film. Heater elements selected from the array of the heater elements according to the image on the original are applied with an electric voltage so that perforations are formed in the parts of the thermoplastic film of the heat-sensitive stencil master material in contact with the selected heater elements. A continuous electric voltage is applied to each of the selected heater elements to heat the heater element to a predetermined temperature in a predetermined temperature range adequate to thermally perforate the thermoplastic film and then an intermittent electric voltage is applied to the heater element so that the temperature of the heater element is held in the predetermined temperature range for a predetermined time interval adequate to thermally perforate the thermoplastic film.

摘要: In response to a forming request, an archiver forming module compresses a data file on a network and stores into an archiver. In response to a referring request, an archiver referring module reads out the compressed data file from the archiver, reconstructs on the network, and stores the reconstructed data file into the archiver. An archiver managing module concentratedly manages the archiver on the network. An archiver concentration type processing apparatus in a sharing group is set to a host and remaining archiver distribution type processing apparatuses are set to clients. The archiver, archiver forming module, and archiver referring module are arranged in each of the host and the clients. Concentration processes and distribution processes are allowed to mixedly exist on the network.
