    摘要: Disclosed herein is a battery cell configured such that an electrode assembly of a cathode/separator/anode stack structure is mounted in a changeable cell case in a state in which the electrode assembly is impregnated with an electrolyte, wherein the electrode assembly and the cell case are curved in the same direction on axial vertical sections thereof in a state in which opposite ends of the electrode assembly and opposite ends of the cell case are directed in the same direction about a middle part of the electrode assembly and a middle part of the cell case. When the battery cell is mounted in an electronic device the external shape of which is curved or in an electronic device configured such that a battery mounting region thereof is curved, the tight contact between the battery cell and the electronic device is achieved, thereby maximizing space utilization and thus providing high efficiency. Also, electronic devices having aesthetically pleasing appearance and various designs satisfying liking of consumers are developed using the battery cell.

    摘要: A secondary battery is manufactured by mounting an electrode assembly having a cathode/separator/anode structure into a pouch-shaped battery case and thermally welding the electrode assembly to the battery case, wherein a pair of insulative films are attached to opposite major surfaces of each electrode lead, to which electrode taps of the electrode assembly are electrically connected, at regions contacting an upper thermally-welded portion (upper sealed portion) of the pouch-shaped battery case, one of the insulative films, extends such that the lower end of the insulative film supports a coupled region where the electrode taps are coupled to the electrode lead, and the overlapping length between the insulative films is equal to or slightly greater than the height of the upper sealed portion.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a secondary battery constructed in a structure in which an electrode assembly having a cathode/separator/anode structure is mounted in a sheet-type battery case having a receiving part defined therein, the sheet-type battery case is sealed by thermal welding, and sealing parts are formed entirely along the edge of the receiving part by the thermal welding. The sealing parts are perpendicularly bent such that the sealing parts are brought into tight contact with a side wall of the receiving part. Cathode and anode terminals are positioned at two different sealing parts about the receiving part, respectively. When external forces are applied to the secondary battery, the safety of the secondary battery is improved, and the occurrence of a short circuit is effectively prevented.

    摘要: The present invention provides a battery having a structure for increasing the power storage capacity and output thereof In accordance with the present invention, in a battery comprising an electrode assembly including anode plates, cathode plates and separators; and a battery case, both side bonding portions of which are folded toward adjacent sides thereof, for accommodating the electrode assembly and a designated amount of electrolyte, and sealing the electrode assembly such that two electrode terminals connected to corresponding electrode taps of the anode and cathode plates of the electrode assembly are exposed to the outside, an upper bonding portion of the battery case is folded toward the upper end of the battery case, and/or common portions of the upper bonding portion and both side portions of the battery case are cut off, and/or inner corners corresponding to the upper bonding portion have larger radiuses of curvature, and/or receipt portions for receiving the electrode assembly are respectively formed in upper and lower bodies of the battery case. The battery having the above structure has high power storage capacity and output at the same size of the battery package, and high sealing capacity and safety.

    摘要: There is disclosed a syntheitc method of mixing a soluble poly(1,4-phenylenvinylene)(PPV) derivative in which two silyl groups are substituted, and an electroluminescent device using the same. In the poly�2,5-bis(dimethyloctylsilyl)-1,4-phenylenvinylene! (BDMOS-PPV) according to the present invention, the final polymer is easily dissolved in common organic solvents and shows a measured absolute PL quantum efficiency of 60% much higher than that of the conventional PPV having 25%, thus making it possible to be applied as material of an electroluminnescent device. Also, it provides an outstanding advantage that it can be applied to a flexible light-emitting device.
