摘要: An optical switching apparatus comprises a stationary block and a movable block. The stationary block abuts on one face of the movable block. The stationary block holds a first and a second input optical fiber and a first and a second output optical fiber. The movable block holds four coupling optical fibers each at both end portions, each coupling optical fiber being an open loop. The movable block may move from a first position to a second position, or vice versa. As long as the movable block stays in the first position, both end faces of the first coupling optical fiber face one end face of the first input optical fiber and one end face of the first output optical fiber, respectively, and both end faces of the second coupling optical fiber face one end face of the second input fiber and one end face of the second output optical fiber, respectively. When the movable block is moved in the second position, both end faces of the third coupling optical fiber face one end face of the first input optical fiber and one end face of the second output optical fiber, respectively, and both end faces of the fourth coupling optical fiber face one end face of the second input optical fiber and one end of the first output optical fiber, respectively.

摘要: The automobile rear structure includes a diffuser which is arranged on a vehicle-body rear side of a muffler and is configured to interfere with exhaust gas discharged from the muffler so as to make a portion of the exhaust gas flow downwardly, and a flow rectification plate which is arranged below the muffler and guides the downwardly flowing exhaust gas in the direction along an air flow flowing below the floor of the vehicle body to merge the exhaust gas into the air flow. The exhaust gas discharged downwardly from a space defined between a front end portion of the diffuser and a body portion of the muffler is guided in the direction inclined downwardly toward the rear side of the vehicle body and, thereafter, is guided in the direction along the air flow flowing below the floor of the vehicle body, and is merged into the air flow.

摘要: In an apparatus for ionizing and separating a gas into gas components in an inlet gas (11), a gas flowing into a flow channel of a chamber from an inlet port is ionized, and in the flow channel the gas ionized by applying an electrical field to the gas components having an ionized state by electrodes (16) (17) is separated into a cation and anion to separate a gas molecule component contained in the gas. One of the gas component such as a clean air is removed from a first outlet (12) port and the separated gas component is removed from a second outlet (13) port. A flow of the inlet gas from the inlet port is adjusted to retain the gas in the flow channel of the chamber for a predetermined or more time so that an airflow is adjusted.

摘要: A middle liner of a slide guide device for a machine press has a spherical shaped side which fits into a sliding gib attached to a slide. The middle liner slides along a fixed gib at first and second linear surfaces that are at an angle with each other. The combination of self-alignment and smooth movement of the slide is achieved in the presence of an eccentric load acting on the slide. A machine press equipped with such a slide guide device has excellent eccentric load resistance and high working precision. In a further embodiment, a press machine is further equipped with a knockout device having knockout block moving between a pair of guide rails. A plurality of middle liners, each having at least one spherical surface, are positioned between the knockout block and the guide rails. The resulting knockout device provides a stable knockout load with low noise and low energy consumption.
