    摘要: To provide a smaller and more efficient switching power supply, the switching power supply includes: a high frequency transformer; a primary side switching circuit adapted to switch a current flowing through a primary winding of the high frequency transformer to thereby generate predetermined voltages in a secondary winding and an auxiliary winding of the high frequency transformer; a secondary side rectifier adapted to rectify a voltage generated in the secondary winding to supply the rectified voltage to a load; a charging circuit adapted to rectify a current flowing through the auxiliary winding and to switch the rectified current to thereby charge a secondary battery at a constant current; and a switch, provided between the secondary battery and the load, which supplies, when the voltage supplied to the load is interrupted, the voltage of the secondary battery to the load without going through the high frequency transformer.

    摘要: The DC-DC converter connects a first and a second switching circuit for converting power mutually between direct current and alternating current respectively to a first DC power source and a second DC power source and has a transformer between the AC terminals thereof. Here, between the AC terminals of the second switching circuit and the negative pole terminal of the DC power source, a voltage clamp circuit composed of a series unit of switching devices with a reverse parallel diode and a clamp condenser is connected.An isolated bidirectional DC-DC converter which prevents a reduction in a circulating current at time of buck and an occurrence of a surge voltage at time of voltage boost and realizes highly efficiency, low noise, and miniaturization is provided.

    摘要: A soft switching DC-DC converter is provided which includes circuitry for both a buck converter and a boost converter. The buck converter circuitry and the boost converter circuitry share a common transformer including a primary coil and first and second secondary coils. A first switching element is coupled to a first capacitor to provide the buck converter operation while another switching element is provided to provide the boost converting operation. The primary coil of the transformer is commonly used as a choke coil by both the buck converter and the boost converter. In this way, size and cost reduction can be obtained.

    摘要: Power is taken out from radio waves through an antenna and a power receiving unit. A signal receiver, a comparator, and an ID signal holder are operated with the taken-out power to compare an ID contained in a received signal with an ID read out from the ID signal holder. When both the ID's are matched with each other, a switch for a main power source is turned on. In trying to remotely operate household electrical appliances by utilizing the Internet that has become increasingly popular, standby power is consumed if the electrical appliances are kept in a standby state at all times. Since power is taken out from radio waves, the invention is able to cut the standby power in an environment where the radio waves are transferred via radio communication that is expected to be more and more prevalent in future.

    摘要: A circuit construction comprising a diode and a capacitor is connected to a secondary coil of a thin transformer such as a wire-type transformer. An excitation energy is discharged during a reset time of the transformer, and this excitation energy is accumulated in the capacitor, thereby output voltage is obtained through the capacitor. A direct current output voltages having two outputs is obtained through one transformer. A small volume and a light weight of the transformer, so that a compact and thin power supply apparatus can be obtained. Since a winding ratio of the transformer can be made small, a copper loss of the transformer can be reduced. It is unnecessary to select a higher switching frequency and a manufacturing cost of the power supply apparatus can be reduced.

    摘要: A parallelized power supply system including a plurality of switching power supplies each having a circuit for limiting rush current generated when a main switch is turned on. This system can be installed in an apparatus which requires the functions such as power uninterrupted operation and live wire insertion/dismount. Each switching power supply has another power supply for driving the rush current limiter circuit and a relay circuit for supplying relay driving current and making a connection of relay contacts after a predetermined time lapse after the operation start of the switching power supply. An a.c. power is supplied via the relay contacts to each switching power supply. The relay driving time set in the rush current limiter circuit is different for each switching power supply. Accordingly, concentration and excess of rush current when the relay is driven can be suppressed, and sparks at contact pins of a connector to be otherwise generated when the switching power supply is mounted on the connector, can be eliminated so that radiation noises and connector breakage can be avoided. Each of the switching power supplies connected in parallel has a current detecting resistor connected between the low voltage side of a load and the low voltage side of a voltage regulator d.c. output, and at least one operational amplifier for detecting a change in the d.c. output, the negative power supply terminal of the operational amplifier being connected to the current detecting resistor at its one end on the load side.

    摘要: A three-phase bridge inverter for controlling a motor with a variable speed includes a drive circuit therefor and an overcurrent protection circuit on one integrated chip. The inverter IC can be operated by directly inputting a direct current obtained by rectifying commercial 100 V. Thus, the inverter chip reduces the size and the weight of a system, improves the usability, lowers the cost thereof and permits mass production fabrication. Also, the life of the IC is increased by detecting current flowing through the inverter and the temperature of the chip and stopping the operation, when an abnormality is found.
